It’s that time of the year again, the 2021 NBA Draft, the yearly event in which NBA teams choose promising prospects and future stars for their franchises in hopes of either igniting a new era or to continue dominance.

The NBA Draft always comes with many back stories, who will be picked first? Will a team trade for a draft pick, or can this player live up to the hype?

The oddsmakers at DraftKings have put out the odds on who they think has the strongest possibilities of being picked number 1 - 5. Take a look at the top picks of the 2021 NBA Draft!

2021 NBA Draft pick number 1

Cade Cunningham is the heavy favorite to be drafted at number 1 at -8000, and many pundits would be shocked if Cunningham does get picked by the Pistons, although it has been reported that Jalen Green (+1500) worked out with the Pistons and barring some heavy maneuvering Cunningham should be the first pick. Rounding out the other possible first picks is Evan Mobley (+2500), Jalen Suggs (+2500), and Scottie Barnes at +10000.

2021 NBA Draft pick number 2

Unless things change Jalen Green (-400) should be suiting up for the Houston Rockets this season. Green will be one to look at with his scoring and improved passing.  Still Evan Mobley ranks at +350, Jalen Suggs at +800, and the unlikely choice of Cade Cunningham is at +2000.

2021 NBA Draft pick number 3

Evan Mobley has the makings of a great basketball player and should land with the Cavaliers. Odds are he will go number 3 at -245. Nonetheless Jalen Green might go down one spot and he comes in at +275, Jalen Suggs +325, Scottie Barnes +900, and Jonathan Kuminga at +1300.

2021 NBA Draft pick number 4

The oddsmakers have Jalen Suggs coming in at number 4, the hard worker is known for his shooting and unselfish play. Suggs should be a shoe in to wear the Raptors uniform. Scottie Barnes comes in at +220, Evan Mobley an unlikely number 4 at +350, Jonathan Kuminga at +550, and Jalen Green at +1000.

2021 NBA Draft pick number 5

Scottie Barnes comes into play here at -265, Barnes will most likely be the Magics choice given his good defense and playmaking skills. Rounding out the possible number fives are Jonathan Kuminga +350, Jalen Suggs +425, James Bouknight +575, Evan Mobley +1400, and Jalen Green at +1500.
