Three out of the four games in matchday 1 in Concacaf World Cup qualifying ended in draws, with only Mexico getting all three points in a last-ditch effort against Jamaica in the Azteca. The USMNT drew with El Salvador 0-0 and Canada and Honduras ended 1-1. Panama and Costa Rica also did not harm each other and said game finished 0-0.

Now every team turns their attention to matchday 2 where the USMNT will play at home against Canada, Jamaica will host Panama in a must win clash, Mexico travels to Costa Rica, and El Salvador and Honduras will square off in a huge clash.

The oddsmakers at DraftKings have put out the odds and we will focus on the best picks for the four matches of Concacaf World Cup qualification. Getting to the World Cup is never easy and these games are evenly matched.

USA - Canada

The USMNT (-195) returns home after a rather messy 0-0 tie with El Salvador. Canada (+475) did not fare any better giving up 2 points to Honduras in a 1-1 draw. The USMNT has the talent to get all three points from Canada, no question. If the U.S. finishes their chances the three points should be theirs.

Jamaica - Panama

Jamaica (-130) showed they have the stuff to think big in this Octagonal and should have stolen a point from Azteca, but things are what they are. Panama (+320) will be happy to get a draw, but this game looks to be in Jamaica’s favor especially playing at home. Bet on the Reggae Boyz for this one to get three points and jump start their qualification campaign.

Costa Rica - Mexico

Costa Rica (+340) need three points badly, but it won’t come from this game, no matter how bad Mexico (-125) was against Jamaica credit El Tri for finding a way to win. With the monkey off their backs Mexico will look to make short work of a Costa Rican side that does not look good at all. It’s three points on the road for El Tri.

El Salvador - Honduras

El Salvador (+185) is very much a work in progress and a point against the USMNT will lift moral, but their classic rival Honduras (+160)  have bigger ambitions and will look to get three points on the road. Look for this one to be tight and expect each team to be happy with a draw (+185).
