The Spanish Copa del Rey continues this weekend with the second legs of the Semi-Finals, to be played from Wednesday, 3 March, to Thursday, 4 March. In the first leg, Sevilla managed to upset favorites Barcelona and sneak up with a 2-0 win on February 10, while the next day, on February 11, Athletic Club battled Levante and eventually, earned a 1-1 draw.

To come to the Semi-Finals, Barcelona overcame Granada in the Quarter-Finals, whilst Sevilla have been the better side against Cuidad de Lucena, Linares, Leganes, Valencia, and Almeria. On the other side, the triumphs over Racing Muria, Portugalete, Fuendelabrada, Valladolid, and Villarreal have paved Levante's way to the Semi-Final. In order to set up two clashes vs them, Athletic Club had to beat Ibiza, Alcoyano, and Betis.

This round provides an opportunity for the bettor to play around with parlays, picks in the over/under, or goalscorers. Here are some sports betting predictions to consider when placing a bet on these Copa del Rey matchups.

Barcelona vs Sevilla betting picks (Wednesday, 3 March)

Barcelona have had a season like never before: the Messi saga, the appointing of Ronald Koeman, Suarez's departure to Atletico Madrid, the failure to bring Memphis Depay, and overall, it's been a disappointing season for the Blaugrana so far. In addition, on top of that, they are trailing Sevilla 2-0 from the first leg of the Spanish Copa del Rey. Barca didn't assert their dominance in the first game, and the strong Julen Lopetegui side used that to grab a win. Jules Kounde and Ivan Rakitic netted on February 10. Three weeks later, on March 3, these two clubs will meet again in the Copa del Rey Semi-Final return game.

Sevilla have been defeated only three times in 2021, by Atletico Madrid and interestingly, Barcelona in La Liga, and Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. Since their first Copa del Rey clash, Koeman's players have rehabilitated and they have even given the Basques side their revenge, beating them 2-0 in La Liga on Saturday, February 27. Thus, in spite of the fact that they are down to 2 goals in the Spanish Cup, FanDuel see Barcelona as a favorite by a big margin, as they are paying out -210, Sevilla +440, and a draw is at +330.

Levante vs Athletic Club betting picks (Thursday, 4 March)

In the first match on February 11, there was no winner between Levante and Athletic Club as the game ended in a 1-1 draw. It was a tough battle between the very inspired Levante and the 2021 Spanish Super Cup winners, Bilbao. Gonzalo Melero of Levante opened the score and Athletic's Inigo Martinez made sure to leave the game open by netting an equalizer. Both sides have since then met again, this time in La Liga, on Friday, February 26. Interestingly enough, the final score was 1-1 once again.

This is a game where everything is still open and very much possible. Both clubs have equal chances to win and go through to the Copa del Rey Final, where they will clash against the aggregate winner of the Barcelona vs Sevilla matchups. In eight of the 10 Athletic Club's most recent games in all competitions, the total sum of goals was no more than 3 goals: four games ended in a 1-1 draw, three in 2-1 win, and one in a 2-1 defeat. Meanwhile, Levante have been struggling to score more than 1 goal in 2021. The Valencia-based side have scored only three goals in five of their latest games in all competitions, failing to net in two fixtures. Thus, it would be indisputable to think that this game will have Under 2.5 goals. A $100 bet could earn the bettor $93, as per FanDuel.

Parlays for these two matchups of Copa del Rey Semi-Finals

A solid parlay bet could be the following: Barcelona and Sevilla to draw, either it's 0-0, 1-1, 2-2 – it does not matter, it needs to be a draw, and the matchup Levante vs Athletic Club to have Under 2.5 goals. At $100, the bettor could win up to $238.
