The NBA isn't nearly half as physical as it used to be 10 or 20 years ago. More often than not, soft fouls or simple basketball fouls are deemed flagrant fouls because of the way players fall to the ground, how they sell them, or simply their reputation.

Then again, we can't deny that there are a couple of players who have made a name for themselves for being hard foulers, earning a reputation of being dirty around the league. One of those is Draymond Green, who's been spotted kicking players in their noble parts a couple of times.

Green is one of the best and most versatile players in the league. He's smart, savvy, and knows how to gain and maintain his position even in front of bigger and stronger players. Still, he's been tied to some controversial calls throughout his career.

That seemed to be the case again last night when the Los Angeles Clippers visited the Golden State Warriors, as Green was called for a flagrant 1 foul on Kawhi Leonard with five minutes left in the game.

NBA Fans Think Draymond Green Tried To Injure Kawhi Leonard

Leonard blew past Damion Lee and drove to the basket at full steam. Green met him at the rim and tried to swipe the ball away but instead, his arm got caught up with Leonard's and they both fell face-first.

Needless to say, Leonard wasn't fond of Green's move and didn't want to hear anything about his explanation, especially considering that he's extremely meticulous with his health, the fact that he's already wearing a mask, and that he suffered the worst injury of his career vs. the Warriors.

Draymond tried to convince everybody that he was just trying to go for the ball and didn't want to hurt Kawhi but as you may know by now, the fans didn't want to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Whether Green tried to hurt Leonard or not is something that's not for us to decide. It's true that he's been spotted making a couple of dirty moves throughout his career and that he's physical and competitive, but going from that to trying to injure a colleague, that's a long stretch.
