Premier League Second place Odds by DraftKings
Manchester United -118
Liverpool +350
Leicester City +500
Chelsea +600
West Ham United  +2500

It’s been that kind of season in the Premier League, a runaway train known as Manchester City have run over all of their opposition and will most likely be crowned champions of the Premiership by season's end.

Oddsmakers have calculated all the stats and forecasted all the variables but here are 5 PL teams that the oddsmakers at DraftKings have a chance to at least finish behind City at the top of the standings of the Premier League.

Manchester United, Liverpool, Leicester City, a resurgent Chelsea, and an unlikely candidate in West Ham United are the other favored picks. Here we will analyze each team’s chance to finish winners without Manchester City in the mix.

1. Manchester United

It’s hard to see Manchester United settling for second, but that has been the road the club has followed since their decline in the last 5 years. United are the favorite to finish “winners” if Manchester City was not in the equation. At -118, Ole Gunnar Solskjær side could very well finish 2nd, but United have been known to be streaky and a losing streak might drop them by season's end.

2. Liverpool

The champions are having a forgettable season as they sit sixth for the time being, way behind United, by 8 points. At +350 Liverpool looks like a risky bet, a sixth-place finisher at the moment, you would need at least 4 teams to stumble big to get the Reds to finish second. Odds are that they won’t.

3. Leicester City

The Foxes are paying out +500 at the moment, and to be honest, Leicester has been having a tremendous campaign. Is it enough? Well, their schedule includes a key match against Manchester United in May and some very beatable opponents during the lead up. If you want to make a very intelligent/ risky bet our money is on the Foxes.

4. Chelsea

Chelsea at +600, could be a dark horse. The Blues have come back strong since firing their coach Frank Lampard, Thomas Tuchel’s side has been riding high, winners of their last three, and with talents like Werner, Kante, and Pulisic, this team is prime to finish strong.

5. West Ham United

West Ham have had a sensational season by their standards, but finish above the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United looks like wishful thinking. At +2500 they look like a long shot, and with games against Leeds, Manchester United, and Arsenal, it does not look likely.
