In an interview with HollywoodLife, Vanessa Rubio opened up about what&rsquo;s coming for both Miguel and Carmen in the next season. Without giving away any spoilers, she said that she can&rsquo;t really reveal what Carmen will do, but she thinks &ldquo;she would go after him and try to ensure he&rsquo;s okay.&rdquo;&nbsp; 
However, Rubio believes that this choice presents &ldquo;a lot of opportunity for healing for them.&rdquo; She also thinks that Carmen will see &ldquo;a lot of her own shortcomings and part in his choice&rdquo; and she &ldquo;has to come to terms with that.&rdquo; But, Rubio also expects that she hopes that their relationship can &ldquo;grow&rdquo; and &ldquo;solidify&rdquo;, instead of breaking.&nbsp; 
She thinks that this storyline is &ldquo;pretty realistic&rdquo; and &ldquo;relatable&rdquo; in terms of parent-child relationships, where people &ldquo;have to speak up and be honest with each other.&rdquo; On the other hand, she also said that a &ldquo;beautiful&rdquo; aspect of the situation is how Johnny supports Carmen, and that &ldquo;can only mean good things&rdquo; for them.&nbsp;

Some of the characters will be after &ldquo;fortune&rdquo; and others want to return the item to its home.&nbsp;

&ldquo;It&rsquo;s fun having different layers to a character in general and having to figure out the exact reasons why someone would break their best friend&rsquo;s arm for example. How does someone get to that point? In that sense, Hawk is just a fun character to play,&rdquo; he explained.&nbsp; 
The answer wasn&rsquo;t so far away from what he said to The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published on Jan. 5: &lsquo;Oh, are you kidding me? The villain is way more fun.&rdquo; Fans will have to wait and see if this change for the character sticks for Season 5, which already is in post-production.&nbsp;

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Macchio confessed that he is &ldquo;not close to anything&rdquo;.&nbsp; 
&ldquo;Seeing how well the series has done, I'd be silly if I said a new movie wouldn't work, so I'm open to that." However, he revealed that he would have conditions to take the job: "It has to be the correct content and production,&rdquo; he said. "Even if they say 'Cobra Kai will never die', the reality is that we need to finish this series in the right way.
