2020 AL MVP Candidates: Favorites and Underdogs
The Junior Circuit has plenty of stars but Mike Trout clearly shines the most. The 3-time MVP is the biggest favorite to win the award again, as DraftKings give him +200 odds, while FanDuel gives him +195 odds.
But if there's a player that can challenge Trout for the distinction this season that's definitely Aaron Judge. The right fielder is finally fully healthy and the Yankees are the team to beat in the American League this season. That's why he's got +800 odds on DraftKings and +950 odds in FanDuel.
It seems like there's no chance José Altuve wins an MVP award again after the Houston Astros' cheating scandal. Despite his talent and ability to make contact, both DraftKings and FanDuel are giving him +4000 odds this time.
And if you're looking for underdogs to watch, you better keep an eye on Rafael Devers. The Red Sox's rising star posted MVP-caliber numbers last year and he'll be asked to lead the offense without Mookie Betts in town. DraftKings gives him +4000 odds, while FanDuel is giving him +2000 odds.
