WWE superstars live the life we’d all love to live. They have huge endorsement deals, loyal and diehard fans that’ll follow them all over the world, and, more often than not; the company of a great significant other.

Needless to say, some of them have even been more famous than their better halves as they’ve also found their careers in wrestling, but sometimes, they fly under the radar and people don’t really know much about them.

So, today we’re going to talk a little about those women that have stood by the side of some of the greatest wrestlers in the history of this beautiful sport. Buckle up, sit down, and enjoy as we walk you through.

Jerry Lawler has had a hell of a career. He’s one of the most charismatic people on show business and he used that charm to win the heart of Lauryn Laine McBride, who’s soon to become his fourth wife.

They’ve had their ups and downs like most couples and both have struggled to stay out of trouble with the police, but it’s pretty clear that they’re madly in love and would do everything for each other.

Chris Jericho has done it all. He’s a guy that will literally rock a stage with his metal band ‘Fozzy’ and then body-slam some of the strongest human beings on earth. Other than that, he’s somewhat a regular guy.

That’s why he’s even married to his lifelong girlfriend Jessica Lockhart Irvine. They’ve been together for over 15 years now and Jericho even has a tattoo of her name on his hand. That’s commitment.

Laurel Van Ness made a living in the ring under several names. You may know her as Chelsea, Chelsea Green, or even Reklusa. Regardless of the name, she dominated the scene every night out there.

Van Ness is a former Impact Knockouts Champion with also one ASW Women’s Championship under her belt. She and Ryder got engaged in late 2019 and have been together for three years now.

Jimmy and Jey Uso became one of the most popular tag teams we’ve seen in the past couple of decades. However, Jimmy’s biggest triumph came outside of the ring when he married Naomi.

Also known as Ms. Florida, Naomi Knight, Naomi Night, and Trinity, Naomi has done it all on her life. From modeling, to singing, to acting, to cheerleading, to wrestling. They’ve been married for six years now.

21. Galina Becker - Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns has pursuit several endeavors throughout his career. He’s a former football player turned professional wrestler and actor who’s now married to the girl who’s been through it all right with him.

Becker and Reigns have been together since his time in college football and got married in 2014. You may like or dislike Reigns because of his hard personality, but he’s a total sweetie to his girl and family.

20. Kimberly Kessler - Randy Orton

Randy Orton and Kimberly Marie Kessler hold one of the most beautiful love stories in professional sports. I mean, it’s quite unusual to see professional athletes falling in love with one of their diehard fans.

Orton was recently divorced and quite saddened when he met Kessler. They started dating in 2014 and have been married since 2015, and Kessler continues to be his biggest fan and advocate in social media.

A.J Lee and C.M Punk are yet another example of couples that kick ass on and off the ring. They were both on their primes when they started dating and, contrary to popular belief, they’re actually adorable together.

Sadly for wrestling fans, though, they retired shortly after tying the knot and aren’t unlikely to make a comeback anytime soon. But hey, we’ve seen some crazier things happen in professional wrestling, so you never know.

18. Rebecca Curci - Sean Michaels

Most old-school wrestling fans may remember her by her stage name “Whisper” from when she was killing it with the Nitro Girls. Sean Michaels, on the other hand, just calls her ‘honey’ or ‘sweetheart’.

Rebecca Curci enjoyed plenty of success with the Nitro Girls, breaking thousands of hearts from the fans that attended WCW events. Ironically, she ended up getting married to the ‘Heartbreak Kid’ himself.

17. Candice LeRae - Johnny Gargano

You know Johnny Gargano’s living the dream when he’s literally married to one half of the ‘World Cutest Tag Team’, a.k.a Candice LeRae. Nevertheless, she’s far more than just another pretty face.

LeRae enjoyed plenty of success with the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla for over a decade. Still, it wasn’t until 2017 that she made her way to the WWE. They’ve been married for 4 years now and literally fell in love in the ring.

16. Catalina Hager - Jack Swagger

Jack Swagger definitely lives up by his name. He’s got certain standards to fill, and he made damn sure to pull it off by winning the heart of Catalina Hager (née White), a former model that took the world by assault in the early 2010s.

Catalina Hager even made it all the way to the covers of FHM and Maxim before getting married to Jack. Now, she’s more of a stay-at-home wife who keeps her affairs private and takes care of their two children.

15. Brandi Rhodes - Cody Rhodes

Brandi, formerly known as Eden Stiles, and Cody Rhodes have a Hollywood kind of story. They met each other when Brandi was interviewing him and they were both starstruck and had been inseparable ever since. 

Rhodes is one of the most respected personalities of WWE media and quite a successful businesswoman as well, as she’s currently Chief Brand Officer at All Elite Wrestling, where she still performs from time to time.

14. Jess Watson - Xavier Woods

Xavier Woods has taken the ring by storm since his professional debut and it doesn’t seem like he’s going to take his feet off the gas anytime soon. Side by side to Kofi Kingston and Big E, they’ve won six SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

But, more than the help he’s had from his buddies at The New Day, none of Woods’ success would’ve been possible without the undeniable and unconditional support of his loving wife Jess Watson, who he married in 2015.

C’mon, unless you’ve been living under a rock for a decade, you have to know who Maria Kanellis is. But in case you’ve been sleeping all the time, we’ll share a small portion of her resume with you.

Kanellis is a former WWE 24/7 champion, singer, actress, model, agent, and member of the Celebrity Apprentice. She also made it to Playboy in 2008 and most notably, has been married to Michael Bennett since 2014.

12. Meredith Whitney - John Layfield

Well, it’s definitely not usual to see a WWE wrestler getting married to a financial mastermind, but that’s the case with John Layfield, who tied the knot with the brilliant Meredith Whitney in 2005.

Whitney has forecasted several economical outbreaks on her career and is even known as ‘The Oracle Of Wall Street’. They met each other while working for Fox and it was love at first sight.

11. Giovanna Yannotti - Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle has always kept it real. He’s an American sports glory and Olympic gold medal winner as a wrestler turned WWE superstar and now producer. However, he became infamous in the wrestling industry because his ex-wife got married to another wrestler.

He couldn’t care less, though, as he’s been happily married to Giovanna Yannotti since 2012. Angle has never been much of a fan favorite for his arrogance on the ring, but he’s a hell of a wrestler, for sure.

10. Sharmell Sullivan-Huffman - Booker T

Booker T is a wrestling legend. He won 35 Championships and is the winningest athlete in WCW history. He retired in 2013 but that hasn’t stopped him from keeping close ties to the sport ever since.

His wife is no stranger to the game, though, as she was as dominant as him during her prime. Queen Sharnell kicked ass for almost a decade and until her retirement in 2009. She won Miss Black America in 1991.

9. Stephanie McMahon - Triple H

Stephanie McMahon holds one of the biggest authorities in wrestling right now. She’s the WWE’s CBO and has worked her heart off to continue to build the McMahon’s family legacy in professional wrestling.

McMahon is also a board member of the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation. She and Paul Levesque (A.K.A Triple H) started dating in 2000 and got married just three years later. They currently have three daughters.

8. Beth Phoenix - Edge

Beth Phoenix is yet another example of a wife that was even slightly more successful in the wrestling industry than her husband. Formerly known as one of the WWE Divas Champion, Beth won three WWE Women’s Champions.

Phoenix was previously married to Joey Carolan from the All-Knights from 2001 to 2010. She then started dating Adam Copeland (Edge) and got a daughter with him before finally tying the knot in 2016.

Catherine Joy Perry, A.K.A Lana, is not only one of the hottest personalities in wrestling history but also one of the most successful outside of the ring from her days in the show business as a singer and actress.

She started off as a manager before finally jumping on top of the rim herself in 2016, right around the time when she started dating Miroslav Barnyashev, known by WWE diehard fans as Rusev.

6. Reby Sky - Matt Hardy

Reby Sky and Matt Hardy haven’t always been on the same page. As a matter of fact, they even struggled to stay together and filed restraining orders against each other, but luckily for them, they’ve moved on and buried the hatchet.

Sky and Hardy have three sons together, the latter being born on December 2019. After pursuing a career as an actress and model, Sky made her way into wrestling in 2010 thanks to Lucha Libre USA. 

5. Jennifer McDaniel - Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan was married to Linda Claridge for years and we all got a glimpse of their ups and downs during his infamous ‘Hogan Knows Best’ show. However, it didn’t take long before he tied the knot right away.

Hogan and Linda were separated for years and he even confessed to considering suicide before ‘founding’ Jennifer McDaniel. They started dating in 2008 and finally got married in 2010 after filing for divorce with Claridge.

4. Brie Bella - Daniel Bryan

Unlike her twin sister Nikki Bella, Brie Bella’s wrestling love story did come to a happy ending. And, contrary to popular belief, Daniel Bryan was actually able to tame her hardnosed character both on and off the ring.

Brie was once considered the 11th best wrestler in the world and won one WWE Divas Championship. Bell and Bryan are one of the wrestling fans’ most beloved couples since getting married in 2014. 

3. Taya Valkyrie - Johnny Mundo

Johnny Mundo and Taya Valkyrie set the perfect example that you can mix work with your relationship and still love your significant other, as they’re one of the most adorable couples you’ll find in show business.

Taya had plenty of success by herself, winning one Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship, one Impact Knockouts Championship, and is the defending champion of the Heavy on Wrestling Women's Championship.

2. Lauren Hashian - Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is one of Hollywood’s most beloved guys but let’s not forget about where he came from. The Rock was one of wrestling’s finest entertainers and had Lauren Hashian by his side during his second stint in WWE.

They met each other in 2007 while filming ‘The Game Plan’, but didn’t get married until last year despite having two kids already. They’re known for their activism and philanthropic activities in Hawaii.

Steve Austin, ‘The Texas Rattlesnake’ has sure enjoyed his fair share of success on and off the ring. Being one of the most famous wrestlers to ever live, he didn’t fare that well with the ladies and got divorced three times.

However, it seems like Stone Cold has finally found the right one, as he’s been as happy as ever since he started dating Kristin Austin. They got married in 2009 and have spent most of their time traveling with their lovely dogs.
