The 93rd Academy Awards will take place on April 25, 2021 in Los Angeles, California in the Dolby Theatre and Union Station. The award ceremony was pushed back two months due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the odds are now in as to who is favored to win best picture.
Eight films are nominated for best picture with the early favorite being Nomadland, the film directed by Chinese filmmaker Chloé Zhao, while a dark horse to win the top award in Hollywood could be The Trial of the Chicago 7, with an amazing ensemble cast, the Aaron Sorkin film will surely win many awards on April 25th.

Minari is an autobiographical movie about a South Korean family that moved to rural America in the 1980’s. A dark horse to win best picture according to some, the film received amazing reviews and has earned six nominations for the 2021 Oscars.
Promising Young Woman - +1200
Rarely do comedies win best picture Oscars, but the content of this movie might just push Promising Young Woman to the finish line. The film is about a group of friends who avenge the death of their friend, who was the victim of rape. The film was received with worldwide acclaim and holds firm with astonishing performances.
