Joe Biden was the go-to guy for many of the NBA’s players in the 2020 US Elections. Some of the top stars of the NBA publicly endorsed Biden given his stances on issues of equality and some of the negative comments by President Donald Trump directed towards NBA players and their protests.

Donald Trump, on the other hand, was very critical of the NBA and their players, especially when many of them have attacked the President on his opinions regarding police shootings and kneeling in protest. The President in turn attacked players and the league as a whole, even focusing on TV ratings as a way to take a jab at the league.

Joe Biden’s run to the White House received a shot in the arm with many of these endorsements, as it would seem that the sports world was on his side in his race to get to the oval office. Who are the NBA players who endorsed Biden? Let’s take a look.

Top NBA Players who support Joe Biden

If Joe Biden wanted a big-name endorsement from the NBA he got it in the form of NBA champions LeBron James, who has been extremely critical of Donald Trump, Stephen Curry, who in August told the world he was voting for Biden, Chris Paul who has partaken in online discussions with Joe Biden, and Magic Johnson who took to Twitter to show his support.

It’s just not players even coaches like Steve Kerr and Doc Rivers have all publicly criticize the President and have taken sides with Joe Biden. Gregg Popovich even called Trump a coward for leaving Washington D.C. during gun protests.

No matter how you look at it, the NBA as a whole, through its players and coaches, the NBA family has been highly critical of the current President and his policies, and this can only sway voters towards Joe Biden, especially if such high profile players and coaches are speaking up for him.
