Joe Biden won the 2020 Presidential Elections in the United States. He received a wave of sports endorsements, with exceptions, to win the election back in November. Sports figures like LeBron James, Magic Johnson, and Megan Rapinoe were very vocal in their support for Mr. Biden.

The NFL was no exception either, as many NFL players took to one knee to protest the national anthem as a way to protest Donald Trump and his policies. Biden had totally different stances on many of Trump’s views.

While the Trump did have his supporters in the NFL, there are members of the NFL family who have spoken out in favor of Biden. Here are some of the NFL figures that have come out in support of Joe Biden.

Nnamdi Asomugha

The former Los Angeles Raiders cornerback has been spotted with his wife actress Kerry Washington campaigning for Joe Biden in North Carolina. The couple held an Early Vote Mobilization and during the event spoke to the crowd showing their support for Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris.

Calvin Johnson

Johnson criticized President Donald Trump's approach to the coronavirus pandemic. He told local news that Governor Gretchen Whitmer In Michigan did almost the opposite of what Trump had been requesting. "What if we had a leader by example that wears his mask, that preaches social distancing, and believes in the science? Governor Gretchen took it seriously here, locking things down, saving a lot of lives from day one. You can only wonder what if we had done the same with the federal response?" Johnson said.

Brandon Lloyd

Lloyd has posted various pro-Biden Tweets on twitter in the last few months, he is clearly a supporter of the former Vice- President and is trying to sway key states like Colorado in favor of Biden. He attended a Biden pre-debate party prior to the first presidential debate.

Mike Holmgren

The former Green Bay Packers coach recently stated that President Donald Trump failed to handle the COVID-19 pandemic, since the Packers are publicly owned he stated, "The people own the football team, and yet the stadium’s going to be empty… It didn’t have to be this bad, I don’t think." In the Green Bay Press-Gazette.
