Michel de Nôtre-Dame, also known as Nostradamus, is one of the most famous characters in the history of mankind. He became popular around the globe in 1555 when he published a series of prophecies that took society by storm. Fast-forward to today, and people still look up Nostradamus' prophecies for 2020, 2021, and every year to come.
Throughout the course of history, Nostradamus' predictions have been a subject of controversies. Some claim that most are vague and generic or just mere misinterpretations, while others believe he had supernatural powers.
But as we look back to this bizarre 2020 year, we can't help to think that maybe, just maybe, there was some truth to Nostradamus' prophecies. Here, we'll let you know about some of the things he predicted and you'll be the judge.
Nostradamus' predictions for 2020 that are becoming true
Way back in the day, our beloved Nostradamus predicted that there would be a natural disaster in the 'New World' in 2020. That event would happen in mid June, right during mercury retrograde in Cancer.
Shockingly, there was a magnitude 5.8 earthquake in California, and even though it wasn't as deadly as Nostradamus predicted, most scientists are still expecting 'The Big One', a massive earthquake that could tear the city apart.
Nostradamus also predicted that there will be an earthquake in Turkey, which also came true. Over 70 people died and more than 900 were wounded in that terrIBle event. Moreover, he also predicted those big fires, massive storms, and the temperatures rise.
The Big War
Nostradamus also predicted that a big war would tear apart an occidental giant. And while that hasn't happened in terms of an actual war, there has been an ongoing economical war between China and the U.S. Also, China has already 'beaten' the Covid-19 pandemic and their economy continues to rise, while the U.S. is still struggling to contain the spread.
Some conspiracy theorists believe that the Covid-19 vaccine will also include a microchip that could enforce body control over human beings. While there's no evidence to this, Elon Musk has already developed the 'Neuralink', a chip intended to cure neurological diseases.
And last, but not least, we obviously get the coronavirus. "The great plague of the maritime city. It will not cease until death is avenged. Of just blood, condemned for a price without crime”, Nostradamus wrote. And even though Wuhan isn't a marine city at all, scientists found that Covid-19 started and was spread in the city's seafood market.
We don't know for a fact whether these prophecies are real or not. What we do know is that they look like a bizarre coincidence. But if you're a believer, then we encourage you to read Nostradamus' prophecies for 2021 as well.
