LeBron James isn't a low-profile person. It is rare that he is not singled out by different figures in the NBA, not necessarily because of his playing performances but for his behaviour off the court too.
Moreover, he is such a relevant person that much of his actions not only have an effect in the basketball world but also in other sports or even in the political world. LeBron started to get involved in other debates that go beyond the game, poiting out social and political issues.
With that behaviour the 4-time-NBA-MVP has adopted a stance that has had the effect of dividing him from others who oppose his position. Now it has been Zlatan Ibrahimovic who had criticized LeBron for his involvement in matters outside of sports.
Zlatan acknowledges LeBron's talent but disapproves of his attitude off the court
Zlatan recognized LeBron's skills as a great basketball player, but he stressed that the Lakers' forward attitude in matters outside of the game weren't appropiate. In an interview, he pointed out this.
"He's phenomenal at what he's doing, but I don't like it when people have some kind of status and do politics", Zlatan stated when being interviewed by the Swedish channel discovery+ sport.
"I mean, do what you're good at, do the category you do. I play football because I'm the best at playing football. I don't do politics. If I would be a politician, I would do politics. That's the very first mistake people do when they become famous. Stay out of it, just do what you're best at", he said.
