As for Jennings, he is a big slot receiver, with incredible hands, and contested-catch radius. All three are very talented and will help either Kyler Murray or JJ McCarthy to excel at quarterback.

Kevin O’Connell will do wonders with the WRs

KOC is a genius when it comes to scheming and getting WRs open. His concepts force defenders into an “either-or” situation which makes them hesitant. He also adapts very well to situations.

Not only that, but his style is one to make the quarterback stay in rhythm and find a flow. With good route runners, it’s easier for the QB to execute and stay hot. The Vikings offense will be one to watch.

Spencer Fano signed a four-year deal with $32.2 million value. The contract is fully guaranteed and he will get a $19.9 million signing bonus. He was the ninth pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The Browns hope he can be a key component in the offensive line.

The Browns also signed seven draft picks and 12 unsigned draft picks, including wideout Denzel Boston, who is a high-upside rookie. Hence, the Browns are rejuvenating heavily thanks to their draft capital and rookie minicamps.

KC Koncepcion remains unsigned

First-round WR KC Concepcion and second-round safety Emmaneul McNeil-Warren are the only Browns rookies that haven’t signed their rookie deals. This is likely due to minor contract negotiations regarding guarantees or details like that.

Concepcion is expected to be a key piece for Todd Monken’s offense. After all, a team doesn’t draft a wideout in the first round to not give him plenty of looks. It is just a matter of time before he signs his rookie deal.

The Browns are a young-focused team

The Browns 2026 draft class has an average of 22.2 years of age. This puts them as the fourth-youngest team in the NFL for the 2026 season. The youngest team is the Miami Dolphins, followed by the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Tennessee Titans.

The team is focused on having more athleticism and explosion, instead of experience. It still has veteran players, but the core of the team is more on the young side, as numbers tell.

By placing him on the PUP list at this point of the year, it means Owusu-Koramoah will not make the 90-man roster, and prohibits the Browns from activating him at any point in this season.

Owusu-Koramoah hasn’t played a snap since October 24th, when he suffered a neck injury. In February, the reports stated that the linebacker might never play football again. Hence, this move all but made that statement grow in credibility.

Owusu-Koramoah was a very talented player

A Pro Bowler in 2023, Owusu-Koramoah has 308 career-tackles, eight sacks, three interceptions, six forced fumbles, and 14 quarterback hits. He is just 26 years old, but his injury has corrupted what was once thought as a very promising career.

While the Browns have still kept a great defense without Koramoah, he is still a player that if healthy, could really be impactful. Of course, the priority is mainly his health and well-being.

What is exactly Owusu-Koramoah’s injury?

His injury came after running back Derrick Henry collided with him at full-speed. The hit caused his neck to compress and his head to snap back violently. This also puts his spinal area in jeopardy. Hence, his movement could very well be damaged if he returns without proper clearance.

In a post-press conference video posted by Adam Zubayraev via Championship Rounds, Chimaev explained the reason for his kick. “If I didn’t do this, he’s gonna do more and more bad things. If I let him do it, he’s gonna speak about my mom, my dad, everyone. That’s why I just had to stop him.“

Chimaev and Strickland went hard on each other during the press conference until the beef reached physical heights. Chimaev threw an oblique kick, which is designed to hyperextend the knee of the opponent. Hence, he is lucky Strickland’s knee didn’t suffer any damage, otherwise the main event could’ve gotten canceled.

The fighting business is not precisely known for fighters being friendly to each other. After all, they punch each other in the face. However, there are some fights where the bad blood boils more than others.

There is an unwritten code that sparring videos shouldn’t be disclosed. However, Chimaev leaked a video sparring with Strickland saying he was “bullying weak people,” hence propeling the feud even further.

Strickland is a massive underdog, but he’s defied the odds before

Strickland is a former champion, but Vegas odds still have him as a +425 underdog in comparison to Chimaev, who comes in at -600. Still, it wouldn’t be the first time that Strickland comes in as a massive underdog and delivers a masterclass.

When he won the belt against Adesanya, he was a +540 underdog. He ended up putting on a show, nearly finishing Adesanya and dominating on the scorecards (49-46 x3) in Adesanya’s home soil.

According to Jeremy Fowler, this is the first reported visit since he was released by the Chiefs in February. Danna, who is 28 years old, had spent all his career in Kansas City prior to his release.

The Bills ranked 20th in sacks in 2025, so bringing an experienced, proven winner like Danna into the team will surely help on improving that statistic. The Bills need good depth in the defensive end position and Danna could fill that hole. Josh Allen could have more leeway on offense as well.

Danna’s career numbers are not as impressive, but he is a force

Danna has been in the NFL since 2020 and has racked up 21.5 sacks during that time. He was a regular starter for the Chiefs since 2023, but given the fact that they’ve restructured their defensive line, Danna was a needed release.

The Bills could definitely take advantage of that. Danna just had one sack last season, but it was a down year for basically all of the Chiefs team. That could help the Bills though, as they could sign him with a discount, and then see him flourish once again.

The Bills defensive line has great upside

The Bills use a 3-4 base formation. The Bills just brought Jim Leonhard as their new defensive coordinator. He is coming from the Denver Broncos, so he is likely to use a very aggressive pass rush without much blitz.

Given the fact that the Giants have done a lot of community work and brand awareness in Germany, the NFL could definitely make them go there to play the Lions. They could also play in London, as the Washington Commanders are scheduled to play at “home” at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Why can’t the Giants play elsewhere?

France’s game will be hosted by the New Orleans Saints, but when the Giants face the Saints, it will be at MetLife Stadium, as they are the home side. The Atlanta Falcons will be the home team in Spain, but they don’t have the Giants on their schedule.

Australia will have just one game. It’s been determined that the game will pit the Los Angeles Rams vs the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers are also playing in Mexico, but not against the Giants, since both teams will face but with the Giants as the home team. Lastly, they can’t play the Cowboys in Brazil, because it was announced that they will face the Ravens in Rio de Janeiro.

The Giants have played four games outside of American soil. They have a 3-1 record in regular-season international games. The three victories came in London, where they could potentially play this year. The Giants beat the Dolphins (2007), Rams (2016), and Packers (2022).

The lone defeat was in Germany, where they could also play this season. They lost in 2024 against the Panthers in a game that went all the way to an overtime. The Giants also played a preseason game in Berlin back in 1994, in which they beat the Chargers.

The club has announced that Valverde suffered a head injury. “After the tests carried out today on our player Fede Valverde… he has been diagnosed with a cranioencephalic trauma. Valverde is at home in good condition and will need to rest for 10 to 14 days, as indicated by medical protocols for this diagnosis.”

The rest period immediately confirms that Valverde won’t be available for manager Alvaro Arbeloa in the weekend when they face Barcelona. The injury came after Aurelien Tchouameni reportedly hit Valverde, which allegedly caused him to fall and hit his head, opening a huge gash on his head, leaving him semi-conscious. Valverde, however, denied being hit by Tchouameni.

This reportedly wasn’t the first fight between Valverde and Tchouameni

While this came to a tragic end, this was not the first incident between Valverde and Tchouameni. It all but confirms they have bad blood between each other. It was reported that on May 6th, Valverde and Tchouameni almost came to a physical confrontation as well, but were separated on time.

However, a day later things got chirpy once again and Valverde ended up getting the short end of the stick. Valverde is one of Madrid’s longest-tenured players right now on the roster, and one of the captains of the team.

Real Madrid are in complete disarray

Not only are Madrid heading towards their second straight season without any silverware, the locker room seems fractured. It seems like Alvaro Arbeloa may have lost control of the group. And now there’s even a petition to have Kylian Mbappe out.

Vinicius Jr. is also rumored to be unhappy. Many players are having very bad seasons, and all this just before a World Cup year. The fact is that Madrid might need to make big changes next season.

According to Henry McKenna of Fox Sports, the Browns’ many issues regarding roster construction, salary cap issues, and not having a starting quarterback established might make the owners take big-time decisions.

“That’s right, they could both get fired,” said McKenna. He was referring to both Berry and Monken. The reason for it would be the Browns could be eyeing a high pick for the 2027 NFL Draft already.

Why should Monken be fired because of this?

It might sound unfair, as Monken is trying to deal with a bad hand. In fact, all the salary cap issues, and roster construction as a whole falls into Berry’s responsibilities. So why would the Browns even consider firing Monken?

Well, Monken is a first-time NFL head coach, which means he knows losing games won’t do much for his stock. That contradicts the Browns’ objective of getting high picks. Hence, Monken’s spot on the team could also come into question.

Browns made quite a lot of moves constructing the roster

The Browns needed offensive line and wide receivers, and while they don’t have much money to work with, they reinforced the roster in those areas in the 2026 NFL Draft. They brought Spencer Fano at O-line, and WRs KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston.

Per Shams Charania of ESPN, the Knicks put him as questionable for Game 3 vs the 76ers. Anunoby is the Knicks second-leading scorer during this postseason run. He is averaging 21.4 points per game.

The Knicks are 2-0 in the series vs. 76ers. This provides the team with some leeway to not risk Anunoby. However, it will all depend on how the Knicks see Anunoby. Dr. Jesse Morse laid out the whole Anunoby injury scenarios.

The Knicks are on a good playoff run

The New York Knicks are doing a great job this season. The NBA playoffs saw them dispatch the Hawks in six games, though the two games their lost was by one point each. They are playing great basketball.

The Knicks are one of the fastest starters in the NBA postseason, establishing the tempo from the get-go. However, they are also one of the most clutch teams in the league. They are able to find momentum late in the games and close them out. Hence, it’s a very complete team.

Who will play if Anunoby misses time?

If Anunoby ends up missing games, the lineup could shift a bit. Jalen Brunson will clearly be the point guard. Miles McBride, Mikal Bridges, and Josh Hart will play mixing shooting guard and forward duties, while Karl Anthony-Towns will stay at the five.

Jesse Morse specializes in analyzing sports injuries. He laid out three scenarios. Per Morse, “Best case scenario it’s not a full strain and just a mild ‘tweak’ with no changes. He would likely miss 1-2 games.” This would put him on pace to return for Game 3 or 4.

However, Morse also has two other options. “If this shows a grade 1 strain (mild), his series will be over but he could potentially return in two weeks with the right treatments assuming everything goes well for the Knicks with the series. If it is a grade 2, moderate, partial tear, these take 6-8 weeks, think Luka Doncic, then his season is likely over unfortunately.“

OG Anunoby has a history of hamstring injuries

Unfortunately for the Knicks, this isn’t the first time Anunoby has suffered a hamstring injury. Since he’s gotten into the NBA, Anunoby has suffered three hamstring injuries, all between 2024 and 2026.

In November, 2025, Anunoby missed nine games. In 2024, he missed four games. Also, when he played on the Raptors, he suffered a lot of soft tissue injuries. Hence, it seems like Anunoby’s career is always hanging by a thread with his muscular issues.

The Knicks will miss Anunoby

During the first two games of the series vs. 76ers, Anunoby scored 18 and 14 points respectively while shooting 16/25, and 4/9 from beyond the arc. Anunoby’s output was also heavily productive on defense.

The 28-year-old had four steals in Game 2 and has two blocks in the series. Without him, the Knicks will have to definitely adjust on both sides of the ball. Hence, the rotation will be put to test.

Unfortunately for Patriots players, the topic reached them. Maye was asked if Vrabel’s off-field problems will be a distraction. The QB answered with an emphatic “No, I don’t.“

Drake Maye is focusing on football only

Maye is demonstrating big-time maturity with this issue. Many would just go full into the gossip mode kinds of things. For Maye, “he’s our head coach. I think he’s done a great job of talking to us and talking us through it. I’m just looking forward to getting back to work and getting ready.”

Vrabel is an excellent head coach. When it comes to football, he is a brilliant mind. However, now there are questions of whether Vrabel will be on the Patriots sideline come Week 1. Maye, for now, is still standing besides his head coach.

The Patriots are going downhill fast

The Patriots lost their best wide receiver in Stefon Diggs, their draft wasn’t graded in a good way, their head coach is in the middle of one of the hottest scandals in recent NFL history, their schedule will be one of the toughest in 2026, and the whole franchise seems headed to absolute disarray.

While there is a big rumor stating they could bring star WR AJ Brown, the fact is that this offseason, New England has had way more downs than ups. This could be very well an indicator of where the team’s season will go.

Per Steelers insider Bob Labriola, “Oklahoma safety Robert Spears-Jennings, who came to the team in the seventh round (224th overall). Based on things I had read about him, I saw him as a good value at that point in the draft, and he plays a position the team needed to address at some point during the weekend.”

Oklahoma is a big-time program, and Labriola follows the Steelers really close. Therefore, the fact is that if Spears-Jennings can deliver, he could become an absolute star for the black-and-gold.

Steelers needed to address the secondary

The free safety position is scheduled to be Jaquan Brisker’s spot, but Spears-Jennings is just below him in the pecking order. DeShon Elliott, Sebastian Castro, and Jack Henderson are on the strong safety depth chart.

It is a thin-aired position for the Steelers, so the best value they can have, the better for the team. Hence, Spears-Jennings could actually become a key piece of this defense. The Steelers have a history of good scouting, so there is an actual chance that a seventh-rounder becomes crucial and provides quality for the team.

Elite defense is a staple of this franchise

The Pittsburgh Steelers offense might be worrying about the Aaron Rodgers drama, but the fact is that this team can’t allow having a bad defense. It’s basically what the Steelers always bring to the table, elite defense.

Without Mike Tomlin, the Steelers will need a new coach to guide this defense. New defensive coordinator Patrick Graham has some huge shoes to fill. At least he still has some great talent like TJ Watt, Cam Heyward, Patrick Queen, and Alex Highsmith, to mention a few.

The team announced the move on its official channels. Jaheim Bell was waived by the Philadelphia Eagles last week. He was previously drafted in the seventh round by the New England Patriots.

The Florida State Seminoles product could become the newest weapon for Aaron Rodgers, or whoever gets lined up under center for the Steelers next season. Jaheim Bell has only two receptions in his career.

Jaheim Bell joins a deep TE room

Pat Freiermuth is the Steelers’ best tight end, but not the only top-tier one. Darnell Washington is also a highly productive tight end. However, the Steelers let Jonnu Smith go, so they needed a new presence.

For Bell to shine, he must beat JJ Galbreath, Lake McRee, and Chamon Metayer in the pecking order. The Steelers did use their tight ends heavily last season, so it’s a unit that could definitely be relevant again.

The Steelers are in need of an explosive offense

Last season, the Steelers offense ranked 25th in total yardage, 22nd in passing, and 15th in scoring. Hence, they need to be better in that department, and with Mike McCarthy as the head coach, things should improve. After all, that’s why he was signed.

Per ESPN, an anonymous Power Four defensive coordinator said about Beck, “I think he’ll be solid. I don’t think he’ll be special. Whether it’s poise or accuracy at key moments, he just seems to have too many misses.”

Those are some harsh words regarding how the opposing defensive coordinators saw Beck. Now, Beck was a second-round pick, so the fact is expectations were never that high to be quite fair.

Beck landing on the Cardinals could be a make-or-break event in his career

The Cardinals could potentially have one of, if not the weakest (on paper) QB room in the NFL. Brissett and Minshew are backups fighting for a starting spot. Hence, if Beck impresses, he could get the starting gig right from the get-go.

However, if Beck fails to even make this a debate, his career might start with him being a backup and never getting the chance to become a starter. Hence, it’s one of those moments where the rookie must be ready to step up.

The Cardinals are in a bad situation overall

The Cardinals are optimistic with Mike LaFleur coming in as the head coach. Besides, they drafted a generational talent like Jeremiyah Love at running back. The Cardinals also have awesome skill position players.

Still, they are in a bad situation. They don’t have a star quarterback, their defense is not precisely elite, and the division in which they play is as tough as one can be. The San Francisco 49ers, the Seattle Seahawks, and the Los Angeles Rams all had 12+ wins last season. The Cardinals had three.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported the move, though the contractual details haven’t been revealed yet. What is definitely true is that Taylor is coming into a QB2 capacity after being a starter in the second half of the season on the Jets.

With Taylor behind starting QB Jordan Love, the Packers released Desmond Ridder in a corresponding move. This means Kyle McCord and Kyron Drones close the depth chart. Taylor should definitely be above Ridder in the quality department.

Is Tyrod Taylor a good replacement for Malik Willis?

Malik Willis was so good as Jordan Love’s backup that he earned a starting quarterback contract with the Miami Dolphins. Is Tyrod Taylor a good fit then? Taylor has started 62 games, so he is much more experienced than Willis in that department.

However, Taylor turns 37 before the season begins, and while somewhat mobile, Willis is much more explosive with his feet. He is a reliable backup to Jordan Love, but the playbook should be less physically-demanding with him than it was with Willis.

The Packers know they need a good backup

Some teams kind of disregard the QB2 matter, but the Packers know they can’t do that with Jordan Love. He’s missed time the last two seasons, and given that they are a playoff team, they can’t afford to throw away games if Love is not fit.

Hence, with Willis out, the Packers now needed to ensure they had a solid backup in place. Tyrod Taylor is that. He is a reliable veteran capable of winning a couple of games if needed. The Packers were clever to sign him.

The Pittsburgh Steelers brought in Michael Pittman, but were very interested in landing Makai Lemon in the draft, before being railroaded by the Eagles. Hence, when Hopkins spoke about joining an AFC North, they could’ve been the answer.

In an express interview with Sports Illustrated, Hopkins was asked about which quarterback he would want to play next. “Joe Burrow,” Hopkins said. “I think Joe is one of the best, I love his game, his toughness. He took his team to a Super Bowl early in his career, and I feel like he can get back there with a little bit of help.”

Hopkins would play a tertiary role on the Bengals

While Hopkins may want to play with Burrow, he wouldn’t be much of a protagonist. The fact is Burrow’s first two options will always be Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Hopkins would serve as a situational weapon for third downs, or in the end zone, where he can still be a highly-productive player.

Burrow and Hopkins played great together in the latest Fanatics Flag Football event. They got a couple of highlights in that game, so there is a connection already. However, the Bengals don’t see WRs as a priority, they have the position settled.

Hopkins options are slim

Once arguably the best wideout in the NFL, Hopkins is 33 years old and racked up only 330 yards on 22 catches for the Ravens in 2025. While he will be a cheap option, he is also looking for a Super Bowl-ready team, and those teams might not prioritize getting Hopkins.

Hence, not many teams are rushing to get D-Hop on their roster. A return to the Ravens now seems unlikely, as the team drafted both Ja’Kobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt. The Pittsburgh Steelers probably didn’t like D-Hop flirting with the Bengals either. Hence, it remains to be seen where he’ll end up.

For Smith, “I just go out there and do my job,” as he told Zach Berman of The Athletic. That’s a rather stoic stance in the face of a possible upgrade in his usage and production. Having said that, it just speaks volumes of Smith’s professionalism.

Brown has always been the WR1 of the Eagles, and it’s been clear DeVonta Smith is a premium WR2 with clear WR1 talent. For Smith, Brown leaving could actually mean finally untapping his full potential. In the long run, this could mean more money as his numbers sky-rocket.

Smith would have no competition to be WR1 without Brown

The Philadelphia Eagles have brought receivers like Dontayvion Wicks and Hollywood Brown, who are good wideouts, but not ones in Smith’s level. The Eagles also addressed the position in the NFL Draft.

The Eagles selected USC’s Makai Lemon in the first round of the draft, but Lemon is unproved in the NFL, and Smith is an absolute baller. Lemon could become a premium WR2, but first he must prove he is ready.

The Eagles have a new offensive coordinator

The Eagles changed their playcaller for this upcoming season. New OC Sean Mannion should bring a change in the offensive scheme of the Eagles. Smith could still do what he does best, but Lemon and Brown are very different from each other.

If Brown leaves, Mannion would have to change stuff in order for Lemon to actually deliver. Lemon is more of a yards after catch, medium-route threat. Brown is more of a physically imposing, outside-of-the-numbers kind of threat.

According to Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News, Trigg and Rogers gave “positive first impressions” at the team’s rookie minicamps. However, Watkins did note that it’s Trigg the one impressing the most due to his ability to get explosive plays, though his drops are a concern.

Trigg played for USC, Ole Miss, and Baylor during his college days. He posted a 50-catch season for 694 yards, and six-touchdowns in 2025. Trigg is 23 years old and is 6’4″, 245 lbs.

DJ Rogers’ profile for the Cowboys

DJ Rogers played five years for TCU, and he is off his best season with 34 catches, 319 yards, and two touchdown. Rogers is 6’3″, 230 lbs. He is a physically imposing player, but his is near 25 years old, so he is quite an experienced rookie. His potential might not be as high as Trigg’s.

Also, he is not as explosive as Trigg. In fact, 82.4% of his 2025 catches were on plays of less than 10 yards per pass. He also brings some knee concerns as he tore his meniscus in high school and also suffered some minor knee injuries in the 2026 Senior Bowl week.

Cowboys updated TE depth chart

The Cowboys have Jake Ferguson as their TE1, and while he is good, he doesn’t belong in the upper-echelon of tight ends in the NFL. Luke Schoonmaker comes behind, with Brevyn Spann-Ford, and Princeton Fant below them.

Then, you get to both Trigg and Rogers. However, Spann-Ford has only 18 catches in two years as a pro, while Fant has been used basically just in special teams. Hence, Trigg and Rogers should be eyeing the competition with Schoonmaker who had 14 catches for 132 yards last season.

Pavia has one key aspect that could get him the QB3 job over Fagnano. Jackson is highly mobile, just as Snoop Huntley. Pavia fits the mold on being mobile, while Fagnano is considered more of a pure pocket passer.

Pavia’s pros and cons

A highly competitive, dual-threat QB, Pavia had 826 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns in 2025 with Vanderbilt. He was very effective at extending plays and on designed runs. That fits perfectly for the Ravens.

However, Pavia is just 5’9″ and 200 lbs, considered way too undersized for NFL quarterback standards. He also lacks arm strength. Pavia also has some turnover issues. For instance, he had eight interceptions and five games with under 200 passing yards.

It’s one of the most demanding positions in football, at least physically. Hence, not being able to do any of that at a high level due to a toe injury will logically hamper Claypool’s career.

Claypool might not be the answer to a WR1, but can be useful

Claypool is clearly not equipped to be any team’s WR1, at least for now. However, he is 27 years old and he can be a great deep threat with huge contested catch abilities if used right. This could help the Packers, as it would allow them to use Christian Watson in even more roles and formations.
