Morbius, based on a Marvel comic, could be a supernatural horror movie, more specific,a “vampire one,” with “mad scientist” flavors. Neither Netflix nor Sony has confirmed a streaming release date for Morbius yet. But Netflix’s deal with Sony is what’s known as a “pay-one window.” Traditionally, movies hit this stage of their release cycle roughly six to nine months after theatrical release.

So if Sony and Netflix stick with this kind of timeline for Morbius, the movie would start streaming on Netflix sometime between October and the end of this year.

The Academy’s first statement about the incident never even mentioned Will Smith by name. As the day went on and outrage grew, the Academy became more aggressive and went in hard on Smith, saying he took an aggressive stance and refused to leave. According to TMZ, Will Smith was never asked to leave the Oscars after he slapped Chris Rock. In fact, the opposite is true (He was told by the producer of the show he could stay) this according to sources with direct knowledge who were present.

The Academy said Wednesday they had asked Will to leave the Dolby Theater after the slap but he refused. Three sources who were at the ceremony and witnessed various conversations tell TMZ:

“Yes, after the slap, the Academy officials were backstage with Will’s reps and there were heated conversations about what had gone down.We’re told there was a split among the officials … some did want him booted, but others did not. There were various discussions during several commercial breaks, but they never reached a consensus.”

Other sources talked to TMZ:

“We’re told Will was aware there was talk about asking him to leave the theater. During one of the commercial breaks, we’re told Oscars producer Will Packer walked up to Will and said, “We do not want you to leave” … this according to the TMZ sources.

“Will Packer walked up to Will Smith just after 8 PM, around 35 minutes after the slap. That’s when he told Will he could stay, according to our sources. Will won the Best Actor Award around 5 minutes later.“

This letter addresses the slap that Will Smith gave Chris Rock, after the comedian made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s alopecia (sentimental partner of the actor). In that letter, the Academy expresses its annoyance with the incident, arguing that they condemn the acts of Will Smith, and will initiate a process to take the appropriate actions against him:

“To be clear, we condemn Mr. Smith’s actions, and as outlined in our bylaws, the Academy’s Board of Governors will make an appropriate determination regarding Mr. Smith’s actions. This is as required by California law regarding members of nonprofit organizations, as well as our standards of conduct.”

Will there be consequences?

According to Variety, he now faces “suspension, expulsion, or other sanctions permitted.” The statement from the Academy is highly damning, citing the standards of conduct and Smith’s violations of “inappropriate physical contact, abusive or threatening behavior, and compromising the integrity of the Academy.”

Will Smith, who won the Oscar for best actor for “King Richard” not long after the slap, has been given 15 days notice of a vote regarding his violations and sanctions, and has the opportunity to provide a written response. The next board meeting is scheduled for April 18, when the Academy may take disciplinary action.

The Academy stated thatthey asked Will Smith to leave the Dolby Theatre but Smith refused to do so. The Academy has offered clarification saying Smith was asked to leave but refused. “We also recognize we could have handled the situation differently,” the Academy statement read.

Billie Eilish and FINNEAS

They will perform “No Time to Die” from the film of the same name and they are both nominated in the “Best Original Song” category. It’s not their first time, Billie and FINNEAS performed The Beatles’ “Yesterday” for the In Memoriam segment two years ago. “No Time to Die” has already earned Eilish and Finneas a Grammy and a Golden Globe.

Reba McEntire

The singer will perform “Somehow You Do” from Four Good Days. McEntire performed the nominated “I’m Checkin’ Out” from Postcards From the Edge on the telecast in 1991.

Sebastián Yatra

This will be Yatra’s first performance on the Oscar telecast. He will perform “Dos Oruguitas” from Encanto.

The 94th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 27, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The show will be televised live on ABC at 8 p.m. EDT/5 p.m. PDT and in more than 200 territories worldwide.

Many celebrities said goodbye to the screen and found joy away from the spotlight and demands of the film and television industry. In their new life without paparazzis they feel much better. Many of them found a new vocation, while others are happy with a quieter one.

Tom Holland

The actor had quite a year. He was Spider-Man, starred in a Prada campaign, and even participated in the movie Uncharted. Even heroes need a rest, and Tom revealed that he’s planning to take some time off.

“I’ve spent the last six years being so focused on my career. “I want to take a break and focus on starting a family and figuring out what I want to do outside of this world,” He then hinted that he’d possibly like to be a dad, saying, “I love kids. I can’t wait to be a dad — I can wait and I will, but I can’t wait!“. We guess he wants kids more than a role in a new movie.

Sandra Bullock

The actress has announced that she is taking a break from acting for the time being, and it seems like she’s been thinking about it for a while now.

“Right now, work in front of the camera needs to take a pause. I don’t know (for how long), I don’t know. Until I don’t feel like I feel now when I’m in front of a camera. I want to be at home. I’m not doing anyone any favors, who’s investing in a project if I’m saying, ‘I just want to be at home’.”

“I was always running, I was always running to the next thing. I just want to be present, and responsible for one thing,” she said on CBS News Sunday Morning.

Ryan Reynolds

The Deadpool star told The Hollywood Reporter that he is taking a break from his career to be with the women in his life. “I’m just trying to create a little bit more space for my family,” Reynolds explained. “You know, you really don’t get that time back.”

We don’t really know when he is coming back to the big screen but it won’t be that far. He added, “So, I’ll probably be away from film, or at least shooting films, till the end of the summer. It just provides me an opportunity to be home.”

Guests stars like Kevin Bacon, Charli D’Amelio, Ariana DeBose, Jenna Dewan, Harry Shum Jr., Baz Luhrmann, Tate McRae, Rob Marshall, Kenny Ortega, Amber Riley and John Stamos will join the program.

When does Bridgerton return?

Bridgerton is returning for a second series this March 25 on the show’s one-year anniversary. Fans will be able to stream the popular show on Netlfix from that date. It is a Netflix original series so all you need is your subscription.

Bridgerton season 2 will contain eight episodes. Each of the episodes will be around an hour or longer, keeping the episode length precedent set by the previous season.

Jennifer Lopez would marry Marc Anthony in June 2004 while Affleck moved on with Jennifer Garner that year as well.

We don’t judge The Twilight Saga here but we can say that the best thing about those movies is the chemistry between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

“Cursed Child” was written by Jack Thorne from a story co-created by JK Rowling. It’s set 19 years after the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The story follows the life of an adult Harry, now working at the Ministry of Magic, as his son Albus Severus Potter prepares to begin his own journey at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Is the movie happening?

At the moment, Warner has no concrete plans to bring Harry Potter and the Cursed Child to the big screen. However, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone director Chris Columbus told Variety that he is interested in directing the project and of course he wants Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint to own their roles.

When is Scream 6 coming out?

According to Deadline, Scream 6 will be released on March 31, 2023 for Paramount and Spyglass. We are waiting for the return of Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott.
