Despite the hype and expectations, Cristiano would quickly quiet the Atlético fans by scoring the first goal of the game and would go on to geta hat-trick.Real Madrid thrashed Atlético 0-3 as they continued their quest to win La Liga.

20.La Liga title 2016/2017

In the 2016/2017 season, Real Madrid were on a mission to win La Liga, a title they had not won since2012.
