Purdy recently appeared on The Pat McAfee Show and shared his desire to create more opportunities with his legs moving forward. “I don’t know if I’ll be a Lamar Jackson out there by any means, but there’s always times on film where it’s like, I probably could use my feet there to pick up that 1st down and whatnot,” Purdy said.

“But I think that’s always within my training to make sure that I’m in shape and I am athletic enough to get out of the pocket, make plays off the scramble and whatnot.”

I love the guy, as a person, as my quarterback, as a football player. He is the dude.”
