Real Madrid are La Liga kings, as they were crowned 34 times, whileBarcelona are a bit behind as they have lifted 26 domestic league trophies. Atletico Madrid stand far from such an amount of titles, as they hold 11 so far.

The list ain’t much longer, as we have Athletic Bilbao with eight, as they were a force in the early years of the tournament, while Valencia have six, and Real Sociedad with two. The Cules are the winningest team in the competition with 31trophies, an impressive mark by which they surpassed Athletic Bilbao, who held the record for a long time. The Basque teamclaimed the title 23 times but struggled to win itsince 1984, a 37-year drought in which Barca took the first place away from them.The two most successful sides in the tournament clashed in the last finalplayed at La Cartuja stadium in Seville, where the Blaugranas defeated Athletic Club 4-0.
