The Dallas Cowboys are set to have a dangerous offense next NFL season, led by CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens.
The Dallas Cowboys know they owe something to their fans, and the upcoming NFL season presents a great opportunity for redemption. CeeDee Lamb will now have George Pickens as a new weapon alongside him in the receiving corps, and many believe this duo could form one of the most dangerous offenses in the league.

There’s no doubt that Dez Bryant is one of the most iconic figures of America’s Team in recent years, which makes his opinion carry significant weight. The former wide receiver knows his team has a real chance to achieve big things—mainly due to the offensive firepower Brian Schottenheimer’s unit is expected to bring.

In a recent conversation with the media, Bryant expressed his excitement about what these receivers can accomplish together starting in Week 1, warning that the Cowboys won’t be an easy team to face.

“It opens up a lot,” Bryant told Fox Sports. “I don’t know how you don’t be successful with George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb on the field at the same time. It’s going to cause a lot of trouble. Schotty got to get in there and figure out the best scheme to score points. If we score points, we’re good.”

Bryant’s excitement about the new HC

The Cowboys’ disappointing results last season led to the departure of Mike McCarthy. Ahead of the new campaign, the team made the decision to appoint Brian Schottenheimer—who previously served as the offensive coordinator—as the new head coach.

Another loss for the Dallas Cowboys this NFL season has reignited feelings of discontent among many in the franchise. After the game, former player Dez Bryant sent a strong message to owner Jerry Jones.
If one analyzes the teams that are not meeting expectations this NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys are undoubtedly among them, especially after another defeat, this time in San Francisco. Former player Dez Bryant did not hold back, sending a strong message to owner Jerry Jones after the game.

The visit to Levi’s Stadium represented a great opportunity for Dak Prescott and his team to bounce back and establish themselves among the contenders. However, to the frustration of many, none of this happened, and another loss for McCarthy and company left the Cowboys with a disappointing record of 3-4.

The historic WR of the Star, Dez Bryant, often uses his social media to comment on what’s happening around the franchise that took him to several Pro Bowls. Naturally, after another frustrating loss, this time was no exception.

After the loss, Bryant unleashed all his frustration and directed a strong message to the owner of the Cowboys, Jerry Jones: “Fire everybody Jerry…quit (expletive) around,” Bryant posted on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Dez Bryant #88 of the Dallas Cowboys walks off the field after their 20-17 win over the Oakland Raiders during their NFL game at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum on December 17, 2017 in Oakland, California.

The strong self-criticism from Dak Prescott

Undoubtedly, the recent loss for the Cowboys, this time against San Francisco, has resonated deeply within the franchise. A general sense of discomfort is beginning to be felt not only among management, fans, and coaching staff, but also among the players themselves.

<div class="wp_fsn_relatedlinks" use="ALSO" link="https://bolavip.com/en/nfl/nfl-news-chiefs-make-yet-another-big-trade-to-continue-helping-andy-reid-patrick-mahomes" image="https://ds-images.bolavip.com/news/image?src=https%3A%2F%2Fimages.bolavip.com%2Fwebp%2Fen%2Ffull%2FBUS_20241028_BUS_261171_Head-coach-Andy-Reid-of-the-Kansas-City-Chiefs-celebrates-after-defeating-the-Cincinnati-Bengals-23-1.webp&width=200&height=200" excerpt="The Kansas City Chiefs are making another move before the 2024 NFL trade deadline to help Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes even more.

Dak Prescott, the franchise player for Dallas, was very self-critical regarding the current situation facing his team. He was one of the visible faces after the game in which the 49ers emerged victorious with a score of 30-24.

“Nobody is shaken or giving up. Frustration is very high. It’s a long season,” Cowboys QB stated after the game via Jon Machota on X, formerly Twitter.

Dak Prescott #4 of the Dallas Cowboys scrambles during the fourth quarter against the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium on October 27, 2024 in Santa Clara, California.

McCarthy’s reflection on Prescott’s interceptions

Coach Mike McCarthy was also one of the Cowboys members who spoke to the media after the game, delivering a clear message about Dak Prescott’s performance, emphasizing the impact of the two interceptions he threw.

“I think the first one was that he had pressure. He had pressure in the B-gap, and he had to hitch his feet, which took him late. The safety got a jump on the ball, so he wasn’t able to get it to the back pylon, so that ball should have been thrown to the back pylon. That was part of my angst in play calling because of their ability to get pass rush with four rushers.“

“And for the second one, the spot wasn’t clean, and I called it too early. That’s a better third and four-to-three call, so the leverage wasn’t there, and he’s trying to make a play. We have to throw that ball away there. I wish I had that play called back on the second interception,” McCarthy finally concluded.

Dez Bryant had a 10-year NFL career that began in 2010 with the Dallas Cowboys. He was one of those unforgettable wide receivers that are hard to find. Although he did not retire playing for the Cowboys, it was the franchise where he spent most of his career.

Despite the fact that Dez Bryant played on the offensive line, he knows a lot about defenders, especially cornerbacks who were responsible for stopping players like him. They are fast and smart players.

Cornerbacks are key players on the defensive line. They are just as fast as wide receivers, and if they let wide receivers get past them, it is very likely that the play will result in yards for the offense or even worse, a touchdown.

What are the top 5 active cornerbacks according to Dez Bryant?

In a recent interview with Lawrence Jackson Jr. that was published on Rotoworld Football, Dez Bryant named five players, including the recently injured Jalen Ramsey of the Miami Dolphins, and Trevon Diggs in the top spot. The full list is below.

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Dez Bryant tested positive for Covid-19 just minutes before the start of the game. Check out the funniest memes and reactions here.
It seems like the Baltimore Ravens just can’t catch a break. Right when they got most of their players back after a Covid-19 fiasco last week, they lose Dez Bryant due to an inconclusive test minutes after a game.

Bryant – who may go down as the unluckiest player in NFL history – was out on the field during warmups before suddenly being pulled off. Apparently, his previous test came back inconclusive and had to undergo further testing.

Sadly for him, he tested positive for Covid.19 and thus was ruled ineligible to play vs. the Dallas Cowboys. Shockingly – or suspiciously – the league didn’t rule any other player as a high-risk/close contact and the rest of the squad was ready to go.

The former Cowboys star voiced his frustration after not being able to play vs. his former team, and while some people say that he’s just throwing a tantrum, the truth is that he’s got the right to be frustrated and angry because of how poorly the league has managed this situation.

Needless to say, his reaction only fueled the fire, and people all over the internet had a lot to say about this situation. Check out the funniest memes and reactions from Bryant’s unlucky turn of events.

All jokes aside, the NFL has done a terrible job at trying to keep the players safe and it’s pretty clear that their health is not one of their top priorities. These kinds of situations could have been avoided with a truly efficient protocol. They had plenty of time to plan ahead to the season and did absolutely nothing. So yeah, we’re on your side this time, Dez.

Reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson tipped his hat off to veteran wideout Dez Bryant after his first full practice with the Baltimore Ravens.
What seemed like an impossible dream a couple of months ago is now a reality: Dez Bryant is officially back in the National Football League after signing a deal to join the Baltimore Ravens‘ practice squad.

Whether he’ll end up making the team or not is yet to be seen, especially after such a long layoff and the career-threatening injury he suffered when he signed with the New Orleans Saints after being let go by the Dallas Cowboys.

However, it seems like the veteran wide receiver is already turning a lot of heads in Maryland, as reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson had nothing but praise and admitted to being impressed with him after watching him practice.

Lamar Jackson Lauds Front Office For Signing Dez Bryant

“Oh man, it’s tremendous. We just have to see what he’s capable of. I see him on ‘IG’ [Instagram] a lot doing his thing. He’s grinding [and] getting after it. [Executive vice president] Mr. Ozzie [Newsome] and [General Manager] Eric [DeCosta], those guys did a great job upstairs bringing him in. We just have to see if he’s ready, see what he’s capable of and go from there,“ Jackson told the Ravens’ official website after practice.

Bryant was one of the best wide receivers in the NFL during his tenure with the Dallas Cowboys but his personality and the team’s lack of playoff success eventually made them move on from him.

Now, he’s got a prime opportunity to play for a Super Bowl in one of the biggest contenders in the league. The Ravens are currently 5-1 so it’s not like there’s much room for improvement. Then again, you never have enough weapons, and adding a veteran like Bryant to their current roster is certainly a move in the right direction as they look to put their playoff woes behind.

Reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson claimed that he's happy with the Ravens' receiving corpse but would welcome the arrival of Dez Bryant.
It’s been a while since Dez Bryant last caught a pass in the NFL. The veteran wide receiver was let go by the Dallas Cowboys in 2017 after logging 69 receptions for 838 yards and 6 scores in 16 games. Now, he may have another shot at making a roster, this time next to reigning MVP Lamar Jackson.

Dez Bryant is reportedly set to work out for the Baltimore Ravens at some point in the week. The former star last signed with the New Orleans Saints in 2018 but tore his Achilles tendon during practice. Fortunately, it seems like he’s finally back at full strength.

Thus, Lamar Jackson addressed the possibility of the Ravens giving Bryant a chance to make the team in 2020 and, while he acknowledged that Bryant is looking great in social media, he expressed his satisfaction with the current state of the team:

“We’ve got a lot of great receivers on the team right now. It’s up to the front office. I’ve been seeing Dez Bryant on Instagram and stuff like that, running his routes, competing against cornerbacks. He’s looking pretty good on social media. If the front office likes him, we’ll have to see when he gets here,” Jackson told the Ravens’ website.

Lamar Jackson Wants To Win At All Costs

Lamar Jackson is coming off a historically great season for a dual-threat quarterback. He dominated opposing defenses on the ground and the air like no other gunslinger had done it before, not even Michael Vick or Russell Wilson.

However, the Ravens were exposed in the playoffs and Jackson has constantly stated about his desire to win. Signing Dez Bryant may be a step in the right direction given his well-documented talent and experience.

Dez Bryant Deserves Another Chance

Dez Bryant has always been pretty outspoken about the issues with the team and its front office. That may have cost him his work with the Dallas Cowboys in 2017 despite still being clearly in great shape.

Now, the controversial wide receiver wants to prove that he’s still got it at age 31 but he’ll have a tough task making a team that already features Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown, Willie Snead IV, and Myles Boykin.
