“I believe LeBron James is going to leave the game worse than he found it,” Kwame Brown said in a video posted on social media. “That’s just my particular opinion because he doesn’t have any accountability for how he’s impacted the game.”

The 42-year-old former power forward specifically criticized LeBron for influencing a shift in the NBA’s playing style, claiming it has had detrimental effects. “LeBron James is a football player playing basketball,” Brown asserted. “They changed the rules to accommodate his skill set,” he added, suggesting that others were complicit in allowing these changes to benefit James.

Explaining how these rule alterations impacted the league, Kwame said: “They got rid of the power forward. They got rid of all these people that can contest his shots and be there at the basket. So he have a wide open lane and do what he does.”

NBA viewership under debate

Brown’s comments on LeBron came amid ongoing discussions regarding the NBA’s declining viewership numbers in recent years. “I heard LeBron say Christmas Day belongs to the NBA. Not no damn more. Brown’s history with LeBron

Kwame Brown’s career ran parallel to LeBron James’ rise in the NBA. Brown debuted with the Washington Wizards in 2001, later playing for teams such as the Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, and finishing his career with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2013. Throughout his career, he had multiple encounters with LeBron, who was with the Cleveland Cavaliers and later the Miami Heat during that time.

Despite their shared NBA tenure, Brown has been critical of LeBron’s skills. “The old-school players wouldn’t have any trouble with LeBron because, at 39, he should have developed a mid-range and a post game, and he still hasn’t yet,” Brown remarked last year. “His game really hasn’t evolved outside of a three and putting his head down and going to the basket.”

James was spectacular in the first half of the game, even scoring 21 points in the first quarter alone. However, he ran out of gas at the end, which is normal for a 38-year-old in his 20th season.

However, as much as James put the team on his shoulders while facing elimination, former Laker Kwame Brown was far from impressed. That’s why the often-controversial big man took a huge shot at James on social media.

“I discovered, LeBron, you not that, bruh. I’m sorry,” continued Brown. “I can’t hate to say it — you’re a stat sheet junkie. You a bad boy when it comes to stats. Throughout history, the little nerds are gonna look up your statline, and they gonna say ‘He’s gotta be the greatest player to ever play the game.’ And people who actually play are gonna know that is bulls**t.”

“I have never seen a guy of your supposed caliber not even get a shot off. You got all these points, but you were looking for a bailout again,” Brown added. “Kobe Bryant probably would have rose up for a three and won the game. That’s what great players do. You can’t say that you are great, you have to do great things.”

Of course, people will always take Brown’s words with a grain of salt, but he did play with Kobe Bryant, so he knows one thing or two about his character. Even so, he’ll face plenty of backlash for these comments, but he must be used to that.

Brown has gotten plenty of criticism throughout the years. He’s been the butt of the joke among players from his generation, and he’s grown sick and tired of that,calling them out on social media.

But among all the players who’ve made fun of him, no one has taken things to Gilbert Arenas’ level. Recently, his former teammate took things up a notch by calling him ‘a cancer’ and pointing out his issues with alcohol.

“I had to ask players and coaches, like, ‘was Kwame Brown that bad?’ I remember I was talking to someone the other day and we were talking about alcoholics and he was like ‘your old teammate was an alcoholic… I walked past him a couple of times and just, bad.’ It was bad because he didn’t have anyone. So he drank. Had a bad game, drunk even more. And he always had bad games, so he was always drunk,” the former All-Star sentenced.

Of course, we know Arenas isn’t the one to mince his words or measure the consequences of his actions, so maybe we should take his words with a grain of salt. Brown’s career will always be tied to mockery and poor play, but this was uncalled for.

Well, there isn’t anything left to say, as Agent Zero said it all already. This isn’t the first time that Arenas calls out Brown, as he recently threatened to share a 54-minute video of him struggling on the court, so Brownbetter watch his next step on social media.

Dude been rolling, getting layups all day and then you expect a 30-plus-year-old man to come off the bench after sitting that long ready to go and play some defense. Yeah good luck with that,” the former Wizards big man concluded.

This isn’t the first time Brown calls out the Lakers this season, albeit he’s remembered as one of the worst players in the history of the franchise. If that doesn’t speak volumes of the team’s struggles, then I don’t know what will.

Brown has made some valid points in his remarks but he’s also been infamous for his minutes-long rants on video. Whether fans side with him or not, he’s become must-watch content for basketball fans all over the world.

However, it seems like former teammate Gilbert Arenas hasn’t exactly been fond of Brown’s rants, which is why one of the all-time greatest troublemakers took to Instagram to set the record straight.

Well, that’s classic Arenas right there. He’ll joke around, he’ll play with you, but he’s not going to let you come at him. Needless to say, Brown isn’t going to go down without a fight, and we’re looking forward to watching his response.

Fast-forward to today and not only does Westbrook’s fit next to LeBron James and Anthony Davis continues to raise questions, but also the team hasn’t been able to live up to that hype and expectations.

“That’s what I think the Lakers are missing. They’re missing that leadership,” the former first overall pick added. “Everyone’s so friendly, they’re slapping hands. That’s one thing about Kobe. He’ll be your friend sometimes. But when you’re not doing your job, he’ll be on you.”

Anthony Davis recently said that the Lakers need to play with an underdog mentality, so maybe Brown isn’t that far off. Kobe was tough as nails and far from an easy-going guy in the locker room, although he also had to endure some difficult times with the team.

At the end of the day, the Lakers still have plenty of time to turn things around and enough talent to figure it out rather sooner than later. But they better get going now, as they’re playing like a borderline playoff team at best.

And, while most of the criticism against him along the years has been uncalled for, this time he deserves every single negative comment, as he just crossed a line with his most recentslur-filled rant.

Russell Westbrook is known for being a trendsetter and always going the extra mile when it comes to fashion. His outfits are controversial and, to be fair, most of us find them funny or just flat-out terrible, but that’s none of our business and we’re not here to discuss fashion.

You may or may not like the way he dresses, and most of us would never wear a skirt. But that doesn’t give us the right to talk about his sexuality, or even say that he doesn’t deserve any respect because of that.

To make things even worst, this happens just when some people started emphatizing with Brown and saying that former NBA players and analysts should stop messing with him and calling him out. This ain’t it, Kwame.
