Even though he won an NBA Championship, the Los Angeles Lakers still forgot Quinn Cook in the arena and he took it to Instagram to talk about it.
Even if basketball is a team sport and every single one of the players and staff members should be credited whenever a team does well, it goes without saying that some guys have bigger contributions when it comes to winning an NBA Championship.

Not many teams can brag about having enough depth to actually play every single one of their players big minutes en route to a title, and the 2019-20 Los Angeles Lakers aren’t the exception to that rule.

That’s why most Lakers fans may not even remember that Quinn Cook was on their roster, as he was only able to make 44 appearances this season, averaging roughly over 5 points per game on 11.5 minutes.

However, you’d never expect the team, staff, bus driver, and teammates to literally forget about Quinn Cook, who was left behind in the arena right after the team won their league-leading 17th title.

Lakers Forget Quinn Cook At The Arena, Takes It To Instagram

The former Golden State Warriors player had to take it to J.R Smith’s Instagram Live session to tell the Lakers to make a U-turn and go back and get him or else he’d have to walk back after winning a ring.

Needless to say, this hilarious incident went viral in the blink of an eye, as there were a lot of people who totally forgot about Cook being in the purple-and-gold, as he literally didn’t play a single minute of basketball in the playoffs.

The Lakers signed Cook to get more depth at the point guard spot and because of his sharpshooting abilities, but Rajon Rondo and Alex Caruso provided better defense and playmaking.

Then again, no one can take that ring away from Cook, who’s now a two-time NBA Champion despite averaging 15.1 minutes per game, even he’s not well-known among the Lakersfan base.
