Steve Kerr will have his core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green back at full strength and ready to go for the upcoming season, while young players like Eric Paschall and Ky Bowman could also get big minutes off the bench.

However, even good things could be better, and most people believe that the Warriors will look to move that 2nd overall pick to get a bonafide star that could help them go back to the NBA Finals after missing the playoffs this season.

ESPN’s Brian Windhorst Believes The Warriors Will Trade For Bradley Beal

That’s why Brian Windhorst of ESPN thinks that the Dubs will target Washington Wizards’ star Bradley Beal, using Andrew Wiggins and multiple picks to get the job done and improve their already impressive roster:

“The trade there is pretty simple: Andrew Wiggins is involved from a salary standpoint. And then it would be the No. 2 pick in this year’s draft, the (Minnesota) Timberwolves pick next year, and then I also included Minnesota’s second-round pick next year, which I anticipate to be a very good selection,” Windhorst said onBrian Windhorst & The Hoop Collective podcast.

Beal has repeatedly stated that he doesn’t want to be traded and that he’s eager to stay in the nation’s capital despite his team’s struggles to compete. Then again, he doesn’t actually have a say in whether he’s traded or not.

That move would make a lot of sense for everybody involved. The Warriors get another star, Beal plays for a ring, and the Wizards get pretty valuable assets to continue their rebuilding process, so it would be a bit of a no-brainer.
