Jürgen Kloop arrived at Liverpool during the 2015/2016 season and made a revolution at Anfield. He led the team to three Champions League finals in four seasons, winning the 2018/2019 trophy. To build this almost unbeatable squad, the club signed many players, from goalkeepers to forwards. That’s why we decided to choose the best of Liverpool’s signings with Klopp as manager.

Among them, and maybe the most underrated, is Georginio Wijnaldum. The Dutch became an all-rounder midfielder since he joined the club, and he gave Klopp all the credit for that. Andy Robertson belongs to this list too. The Scottish left-back is one of the world’s best players in his position and Liverpool only paid USD 10 million for him in 2017. A total success!

When Liverpool announced the signing of Sadio Mane from Southampton in 2016, nobody thought that he would become one of the team’s key players. He was even chosen as the club’s Player of the Year in his first season at Anfield. The forward scores goals, assists his teammates and knows what he has to do to make the team’s system works. Today, Mane is one of the world’s most expensive players.

Liverpool broke the January transfer window in 2018 when it signed Virgil van Dijk for a club record USD 94 million. The defender is not only a wall in the back line, but also a goalscorer in attack. The Dutchman is one of the best -if not the best- central backs of the world and has proved worth every penny. He even was nominated for the Ballon d’Or award in 2019 along with winner Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Last but not least is Mohamed Salah, of course. The forward joined Liverpool in 2017 for his second stint in the Premier League, after a not so good experience in Chelsea years before. And he quickly became one the best at Anfield, winning the Golden Boot and becoming one of the fans’ favorites. As Mane, Salah is one of the most expensive players at the moment.
