Needless to say, that has fueled countless rumors about his next destination, including Inter Miami and the MLS.

Messi has invoked his release clause stating which allows him to leave Barcelona at the end of every season. The club, however, states that he should have noticed them prior to June 30, so he must stay and run out the rest of his deal until 2021.
