Another matchweek has gone for the Premier League and the positions have changed a little in English top soccer division. Despite having lost their last game, Everton remains at the top of the standings, tied with their city rivals Liverpool (13 points each), followed very closely by Aston Villa.
The Toffees couldn’t get the job done against Southampton, who beat them at home by a final result of 2-0. James Ward-Prowse and Che Adams propelled the Saints in the first half, giving them an advantage that they’d never lose.
Manchester United and Chelsea tied in the most attractive game of the week, finishing the game with a 0-0 draft at Old Trafford. United dominated the Blues at home but they were unable to break the 0 on the scoreboard.
Liverpool beat Sheffield United by only one goal to tie Everton at the top of the table. Manchester City tied with West Ham United, 1-1 and it’s now the 13th qualified in the Premier League.
Tottenham did the job against Burnley in the last game of the match, winning 0-1 as visitors while Arsenal succumbed against Leicester City by 1-0.
