Rodolfo Pizarro is on the transfer radar of two Liga MX sides, the Inter Miami midfielder has had lukewarm results since his move to the expansion side in 2020. Currently Pizarro has played 6 games this season with only one assist.

Pizarro did have a rather better 2020 with 4 goals in 19 games, with the Mexican international’s performances picking up as the season progressed, but again in 2021 his form slipped and has been subbed out in 5 of the 6 games.

Rodolfo Pizarro came to Inter Miami following a move from Monterrey at a reported $12 million dollars, the midfielder is also the seventh highest paid player in MLS at $3.3 million a year. Here are the two clubs interested in Rodolfo Pizarro in Liga MX.

Monterrey

According to Fernando Cevallos in Mexico, Monterrey is one of the interested parties to bring back the Mexican star. It is reported that Pizarro is not very happy at Inter Miami and Monterrey could try to bring him back, although a $12 Million transfer looks out of the question. Pizzaro won two championships with Los Rayados.

Chivas

The other team is Chivas, although why Pizzaro would trade one bad situation for another remains to be seen, if Chivas can pay the number Inter Miami could have in mind the deal could make sense. Pizzaro won three titles at Chivas.

For Inter Miami this could be yet another stop in the train wreck express, Pizzaro at the moment has not lived up to his billing and along with Matías Pellegrini the total sum spent on both players is $21 million for only 5 goals.
