The New York Giants are strengthening their roster for the 2025 NFL season, and the addition of quarterback Russell Wilson is a key move for the upcoming campaign. In that context, the Big Apple team also wants to build a strong playing style around the young talent of stars like wide receiver Malik Nabers.

Wilson signed a one-year deal with the New York franchise, competing for the starting role with Jameis Winston, the other veteran quarterback looking to earn playing time with the Giants. The mix of experience and youth, featuring a star like Nabers, could pay off.

However, the Giants are looking to make room on their roster and have decided to part ways with an experienced member of their defensive unit who also played for the Minnesota Vikings and Houston Texans.
