In the second UEFA European Championship 2020 Semi-Final,England overcame Denmark 2-1 afterextra time to reserve a place in the Final against Italy on Sunday at the Wembley Stadium in London.Mikkel Damsgaard startled thefans in the 30th minute with a stunning free-kick from 25 yards out that went into the net.
England equalized nine minutes later when Harry Kane’s brilliant pass allowed Bukayo Saka to sneak behind the Danish defense and his low cross was deflected by Simon Kjaer into his own net. After a scoreless second half, England advanced to their first tournament final since 1966 after Raheem Sterling was adjudged to have been taken down in the box by Joakim Maehle.
