Manchester City defeated 2-0 Paris Saint-Germain (4-1 on aggregate) and reached the UEFA Champions League final for the first time in history. The Citizens continue showing outstanding performances and they are on their way to record an unforgettable season.

Riyad Mahrez's brace put the Sky Blues one step closer to their long-awaited dream of lifting Europe's greatest prize. First, the Algerian put Pep Guardiola's side in front with an early opener, and his second-half goal seemed to secure the victory long before the match was over.

The former Leicester City star became the hero of the night and fans reacted to his incredible performance with hilarious memes. The unexpected snow that became visible on the pitch and the referee's decisions were also topics of discussion on social media.

Mahrez led City to their first ever UCL final

Riyad Mahrez has been the man of the semifinal. Before his influential display in the second leg, he had given the Citizens the advantage in Paris with a free-kick goal that slipped in the opponents' wall. Back at home, he provided his team two useful goals to knock PSG out.

Guardiola's team comfortably ruled the game after the Algerian's opener, and his second time on target was enough to destroy the French team, as they lost patience and were even left to ten men after Di María saw the red card for an unnecessary hit on Fernandinho. The hail that invaded the field before kickoff, the referee's calls, and Mahrez's superb night were addressed by soccer fans on the Internet with funny memes and reactions.
