It's official! Gonzalo "Pipita" Higuaín is a new Inter Miami player. The club and the MLS confirmed the arrival of the former Juventus striker, and the Florida team welcomed him with a video posted on their YouTube account.

Rumors about the signing of the player began a few months ago, however, negotiations started after it became known that the Argentina international was not going to be in Juventus manager Andra Pirlo's plans.

David Beckham wasted no time and reportedly called Higuaín to convince him to join Inter Miami and Major League Soccer. This way, the striker will join his former Juventus teammate Blaise Matuidi, who has already made his official debut with the team. Also, he will face his brother Federico Higuaín, who plays for DC United.
