To say that this has been a crazy couple of months for AJ Dybantsa would be a huge understatement. He’s been one of the busiest young men in the basketball world.

From travels to support his brand, signing endorsement deals, starting a YouTube Channel, and leading Team USA at the FIBA U-19 World Cup, he’s done a little bit of everything.

However, nothing has been more important than getting ready for his freshman season. That’s why he’s already on campus and getting the work in with his teammates.

ā€œWe had a couple practices last week,ā€ Dybantsa told Deseret. ā€œIt was optional, but a lot of us opted in. For people who haven’t played together for long, I can definitely see the chemistry getting along … it was just crazy that we haven’t played (together) a lot and the chemistry was still there.ā€

Of course, basketball is a team sport, but getting everybody on the same page will also be crucial to their success, so it’s nice to see that they’re getting a jump start to the season.

Dybantsa will be in the spotlight from the very beginning. It takes a lot of preparation to deal with that type of pressure, and he’ll have to lean on his teammates as well.
