Patrick Mahomes is making it clear: with Travis Kelce back on the field and Andy Reid leading the way, the Chiefs are fired up and ready to chase another Super Bowl title.

Patrick Mahomes was asked during the Chiefs’ mandatory minicamp about what to expect from Travis Kelce in what could be his final season in the NFL. The veteran tight end will turn 36, but that’s not something that concerns the star quarterback.

“I expect Travis to be Travis. Obviously, the play on the field is going to be high. He ‘s going to go out there with the mentality that we’re trying to win the Super Bowl this year because we fell short last year.”

In a very interesting turn of events, the Kansas City Chiefs are no longer the clear favorites to reach the Super Bowl as the AFC representatives. Now, the Baltimore Ravens and the Buffalo Bills have better odds to do so.

Is Travis Kelce going to play for the Chiefs in 2025?

Travis Kelce will play for the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2025 NFL season. The tight end decided not to retire, and for Mahomes, that’s great news considering the huge impact he’ll have in the locker room.

“I think more than anything, it’s the leadership that he brings to the building every single day and how he leads by example and how he leads vocally. It’s a big impact on our football team. So, I expect him to play at a high level and then be an even better leader.”
