Arsenal have justifiedthefavorite role vs Fulham with a 3-0 victory. The 2020-21 Premier League opening match was played on Saturday, 12 Septemberat theCraven Cottage inLondon.

USA international Tim Ream played the entire game for Fulham. In contrast, Antonee Robinson wasn’t included in the squad forRound 1.

The Gunners were heavily favored by bookmakers entering this match.Luckily forMikel Arteta’s side, they didn’t slip-up at the beginning of the new2020-21 Premier League season.

Alexandre Lacazette opened the scoresheet in the first half, while Gabriel andPierre-Emerick Aubameyang added another two. What is interesting in that their summer signing Willian contributed with an assist in each of the three strikes.

The 32-year-old Brazilian midfielder left Chelsea this summer to join their arch city-rivals, Arsenal on a free transfer. Frank Lampard’s forward line has gone through a renovation and Willian was considered a surplus in the squad, mostly because of his age.

The Blues won’t certainly miss Willian, as they have made sure to replace him witha few incredible players. However, in spite of that, the Arsenal fans believe that their rivals will certainly regret letting go of the versatile star.
