PSG arrived at the 2021-22 UEFA Champions League as heavy favorites to fight for the coveted continental trophy. With Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe in a star-studded roster, Paris Saint-Germain are undoubtedly one of the strongest sides on the planet right now.

However, their European journey hasn’t begun as expected. Mauricio Pochettino‘s men put themselves in front against Club Brugge through Ander Herrera but the hosts hit back with a Hans Vanaken accurate shot.

The clock kept on running and Paris couldn’t find the way to take the lead again. They left Belgium feeling like they dropped two points against a weaker – but brave – opponent. Needless to say, fans were harsh on social media.
