Even though they’ve endured quite a tough season, the expectations and hopes were high hope when Inter Miami CF announced the signing of Argentine superstar Gonzalo ‘Pipita’ Higuaín to solve their goal-scoring woes.

Pipita Higuaín’s debut was far from stellar, as the former Juventus striker missed a penalty and almost went into it with Philadelphia Union. On top of that, his side fell 3-0 at the City of Brotherly Love.

Then, he showed glimpses of what he’s capable of by handing out an assist to Lewis Morgan, and eve though Inter Miami still lost 2-3 to New York City FC at home, it was pretty clear that the team’s offense was far more fluid with the Argentine at the center of the box.
