It has been a long time coming, and finally soccer fans in the United States have the Major League Soccer All-Star Game format they have always dreamed of. The MLS All-Stars will take on the best players of LIGA MX on Wednesday August 25th, 2021.

“Fans have been looking forward to this historic matchup for more than a year, and we have no doubt the 2021 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target will prove to be worth the wait,” said MLS Commissioner Don Garber at the game’s presentation.

Where will the MLS- Liga MX game take place?

The MLS All-Star game will take place on August 25th, 2021, at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles. Banc of California Stadium is home to LAFC and the team plays regularly to sellout crowds. The game will mark the first time MLS and LIGA MX have an event of this caliber after years of trying to put a game together.

Who will broadcast the MLS - LIGA MX All-Star game?

The game will be broadcast by FS1 and Univision in the United States, in Canada the television rights belong to TSN and TVA Sports. ESPN will have the rights for the game in Mexico and Latin America. In total 190 countries will be able to view the match around the world.
