It was not just another weekend for Major League Soccer. Gonzalo Higuaín made his debut with Inter Miami and it was not as expected, while Seattle Sounders extended their good run against LA Galaxy. Check out the MLS 2020 table after the Week 14 of play, both the Eastern and Western Conferences standings.
Higuaín played from the start for Inter Miami in the team’s visit to Philadelphia Union. It was not the best debut ever, as the former Juventus striker missed a penalty and the team lost 3-0 to the Union.
Meanwhile, Seattle Sounders took a convincing 3-0 victory over Los Angeles Galaxy to continue at the top of the Western Conference standings with 24 points. The Soundersleadthe table despite having played a game less than most of the teams.
In the Eastern Conference, leaders Columbus Crew suffered a 3-1 defeat to Toronto FC but continue at the top of the standings. However, Philadelphia Union are only one point behinf after their victory over Inter Miami.
