Smith had been highly critical of Bronny James since his arrival to the NBA. His comments about LeBron’s son were not well received by ‘The King,’ leading to the confrontation during a 113-109 win over the Knicks on March 6.

While it seemed like the tension had died down, that’s not the case. On Wednesday, LeBron James scored a game-winner against the Indiana Pacers. He later posted a video on social media of Stephen A. Smith boxing—accompanied by a mocking “WHOMP WHOMP” sound effect.

Smith addressed the confrontation again on Thursday. When asked about the tense moment, the journalist made it clear he wouldn’t have allowed James to touch him. “If that man had put his hands on me, I would’ve immediately swung on him,” Smith said. “Immediately.”
