Speaking to the media, Reid confirmed that the Chiefs receiver has entered the NFL‘s concussion protocol and will be sidelined for a period of time until he is fully cleared.

The news was first reported by NFL insider Ian Rapoport, who shared Reid’s confirmation. As a result, Mahomes is temporarily down two important targets. Alongside Worthy’s injury, there’s also concern about Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, who is dealing with a minor injury.
