Christian Pulisic is a talented player, anyone who has watched him play knows that, unfortunately the USMNT superstar is also an injury prone player. In his first two seasons at Chelsea, Pulisic has sat out more due to injuries than poor form. Despite always coming back stronger, Pulisic’s injury woes have begun to worry Chelsea.
The last time Pulisic played for his club was way back at the start of the season, where he scored a goal and everyone was expecting this season to be the American’s breakthrough year. Then Pulisic joined the USMNT for World Cup qualifying and all that changed, once again Pulisic went down with an ankle injury.
Chelsea is not taking Christian Pulisic‘s situation lightly and are working hard during the international break to get their £58 million man back on track and playing for Chelsea. Here is what Pulisic is doing to get back to fitness.

Pulisic is currently working on his fitness and a source from Chelsea told the Sun that Pulisic should be back, “Maybe next week, if all goes well.” Head coach Thomas Tuchel has had to deal with a lot of injuries to his squad but has made no bones about it. “We have a squad and I have a duty as a coach to find a solution.”Tuchel said in a press conference.
Pulisic has missed substantial game time for Chelsea since his move in 2019, 14 games total in his first season, and the same number last year where he was often used as a sub in key matches. Nonetheless despite all the injuries Pulisic has played very well, no performance stands out more than his goal against Real Madrid in the Champions League semifinals.
USMNT fans and Chelsea fans are eager to have Pulisic back on the field soon, but unlike his national team, Chelsea can buy other options if Pulisic can’t stay healthy, despite all his talent.
