On Sunday, September 5, the South American 2022 World Cup Qualifiers will be back with the postponed Matchday 6. Peru and Venezuela will wrap up the sixth round action in a must-win game for both sides that will be broadcast in the US by fuboTV.

La Bicolor are desperate for a much-needed triumph on the road to Qatar 2022 following a poor start to their campaign. Ricardo Gareca‘s sidefinds itself in a tough spot but a victory could change the outlook.

Things aren’t goinggreatforthe other side either. La Vinotinto are currently under interim coach Leonardo Gonzalez, who took the helm after Jose Peseiro left on bad terms with the federation’s board.

Peru confirmed lineup

On Thursday, Peru were unable to claim the three points against Uruguay. Now, they’ll play for the second straight match at home aiming to finallystart picking up wins consistently.

Gianluca Lapadula will be eligible again after being suspended and he could join Paolo Guerrero upfront. This could be Ricardo Gareca’s lineup: Gallese; Advincula, Santamaría,Callens, M. Lopez; Tapia, Yotun; Carrillo, Cueva; Flores, Lapadula.

Venezuela confirmed starting 11

Venezuela were beaten by the reigning Copa America champions Argentina in Caracas. Interim coach Leo Gonzalez will have to make at least two changesfor the upcoming match.

Jose Manuel Velazquezis ruled out with injury, while Adrian Martinezsaw the red card for a scary challenge on Lionel Messi. Therefore, Francisco La Mantia was called up to fill their vacancies. This is how Venezuela would line up: W. Fariñez; Villanueva, Ferraresi, Moreno, O. Gonzalez; Savarino, Hernandez, Rincón, Soteldo; Murillo, Ramírez.
