Luis Suárez is on the transfer block, after the fallout of their 2-8 drubbing at the hands of Bayern Munich in the Champions League, Barcelona’s new manager Ronald Koeman informed the 33-year-old striker that his services would no longer be needed at the club along with Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic, and Samuel Umtiti.

Lost in the wave of Lionel Messi announcing he will leave Barcelona is the saga as to where the Uruguayan striker will end up given his contract situation at the club. In the last few days Suárez may have up to 4 possible suitors looking for his services, they include the unlikely destinations of Ajax, Leicester, and MLS, but a fourth possibility is a move to Juventus and a potential pairing with none other than Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to As.com, Goal.com, and Ovacion in Uruguay, the Juventus board have been very optimistic about bringing the Uruguayan striker into the fold, since they will be opening up a spot with the pending departure of Gonzalo Higuaín. Rivals in Spain, but proven goal scorers and winners by nature, a Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suárez tandem could potentially be one of the most effective in European soccer.
