As <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/manchester-united" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Manchester United</a> prepares to face Fulham at Matchday 2 of the Premier League, there are some names missing from the starting eleven. Names like Andre Onana, Benjamin Sesko, or others like Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund are missing.



As for <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/andre-onana" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Onana</a>, manager Ruben Amorim, said his starting goalkeeper will be Bayindir. When asked about it, he said “It’s the kind of decision that the manager has to make.” Hence, Onana is out of the squad right now by manager decision.



As for <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/alejandro-garnacho" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Garnacho</a> and Hojlund, it seems like the team has moved on from them and it’s actively trying to ship them out of the club. Sesko, on the other hand, is a brand new signing with lots of hypes around him. However, he is on the bench. Amorim told the media that this was because the player “has been with us for two weeks, he’s trying to understand everything. We need to be patient a little. We just want to win the match and try to help all our players.”

Sesko debuted with the team last week but wasn’t able to make much as he barely touched the ball. However, after Manchester United spent 76.5 million euros, he is destined to be a prominent player on the squad.

While Andre Onana had a remarkable career with Inter and Ajax, his tenure at Manchester United has not started on the best note. In just a few months with the English club, the Cameroonian goalkeeper has committed several costly mistakes, leading to goals and lost points for the team.



During the team’s debut in the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League season, Onana made another mistake. Leroy Sane, Bayern Munich’s winger, took a shot that didn’t have too much strength. However, the goalkeeper failed to make the save, allowing the German forward to score the first goal of the game.



Bayern Munich then scored the 2-0 through Serge Gnabry, but Rasmus Hojlund shortened distances with a goal in the second half. The end of the game was very exciting for the fans. In the 88th minute, Casemiro scored to make it 3-2, but four minutes later, Mathys Tel put Bayern Munich ahead 4-2. Onana is in Cameroon preparing for their World Cup qualifier against Algeria. It is the first leg of a two-leg series which is slated to end on March 29th. Despite the crash Onana is still cleared to play in the matches.
Onana is in his final year at <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/soccer/barcelona-make-astronomical-contract-offer-to-mazraoui-20220311-0014.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ajax</a> with reports that he may join Inter Milan in the summer. Onana will most likely start against Algeria and has a total of 27 caps for Cameroon. When discussing his eventual departure from Ajax Onana stated to NOS, “I think I did a great job for this club for so many years already and I think that my time is over in Ajax.”
