Colts give new details on the Richardson vs. Jones battle

It has been a challenging task for the Colts to find a reliable quarterback since Peyton Manning’s departure. The team hoped Anthony Richardson would be the answer, but the experiment has not gone as planned.

“I think it all matters, it all counts,” HC Shane Steichen said. “Every rep matters. Every walkthrough matters. Every meeting matters. It all matters. So, everything’s being evaluated.”

When Indianapolis drafted Anthony Richardson fourth overall in 2023, the franchise believed he could finally be the long-awaited answer at quarterback. Unfortunately, he has yet to meet those lofty expectations.
