Several Pittsburgh Steelers players are getting tired of the whole situation surrounding Aaron Rodgers. According to a report by Ray Fittipaldo, after constant questions about the topic at the start of OTAs, the locker room may be worn out from the fact that the only storyline about the team is the quarterback’s future.

“It’s the uncertainty that looms over this football team. A lot of the guys said the right things when it came to Aaron Rodgers not being there, but, I also got the sense that they’re kind of sick of, you know, not talking about it, because it was the first time they talked about it. They’re just kind of sick of this being the storyline about this football team for more than two months now.”

The next key date for Rodgers is the mandatory minicamp, which begins on June 10. If the former Super Bowl champion with the Packers hasn’t signed by then, the story could drag on until the final days of July when training camp begins, as there are no more activities in the meantime.

Who will be the Steelers starting QB in 2025?

Aaron Rodgers is the favorite to be the starting quarterback for the Steelers, but since he hasn’t signed, Mason Rudolph is currently the team’s QB1, ahead of Skylar Thompson and Will Howard.

It’s important to remember that Pittsburgh is Rodgers’ only option, as the rest of the teams have no need to sign a quarterback. In this scenario, if Aaron doesn’t choose the Steelers, many experts suggest that retirement could be the other path he might take.
