Jayden Higgins’ recent and serious injury prompted the Houston Texans to move quickly and find a replacement. According to insider Tom Pelissero on X, they acquired Kayshon Boutte from the New England Patriots via trade, sending safety Jaylen Reed and a draft pick in return.
Boutte now emerges as one of the top options in the passing game for C.J. Stroud, joining Nico Collins and Jaylin Noel. Further down the receiving corps are Xavier Hutchinson, Tank Dell, and Lewis Bond.
