Atletico turns down €21mbid from Man United, blocking Diogo Dalot’s transfer to Dortmund

The Portuguese didn’t have many playing minutes in Manchester so far and seemed ready to leave the club if Trippier arrived. But as United failed to complete his signing, they needed Dalot to stay to be Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s back-up. Therefore, his potential move to Dortmund was blocked.

Trippier would have been another boost for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s squad, which has been upgraded with Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane, and Cristiano Ronaldo. Dalot will now have to stay and see if he finally has more opportunities to shine in the Premier League.
