Paraguay seem to have strengthened themselves with Eduardo Berizzo at the helm and head to the Copa America 2021 full of hope. La Albirroja will return to Brazil seeking an improvement from their 2019 performance and they seem to be up for it.

The former Sevilla coach stayed in charge of the team after a bittersweet ending to the last tournament, in which it was knocked out on the quarterfinals by the hosts. Still, Berizzo’s boys were close to shocking the five-time world champions as they forced the game to penalties.

Two years later, his side looks much stronger and ready to pursue a good run in the upcoming contest. Paraguay will have a tough group stage to begin with, though, facing Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Uruguay. Take a look at their schedule in Copa America 2021.

On Matchday 1 of Copa America 2021, Paraguay will kick off their continental journey facing Bolivia atEstadio Olímpico Pedro Ludovico Teixeira in Goiânia at 8PM (ET). To begin their path on the right foot, they must claim the three points. Otherwise, things could get really complicated for them.

Paraguay vs Argentina – June 21

Paraguay vs Chile – June 24
