The2022 Major League Soccer potseasonwill take place fromSaturday, October 15to Saturday, November5, 2022. All of the MLS Playoffs matchups are a one-legged game played at the highest-ranked team’shome stadium. This rule includes the 2022 MLS Cup Finals game.

2022 MLS Playoffs: Teams
For the2022 Major League Soccer Playoffs, Philadelphia Union, as the top seeded in the Eastern Conference, and Los Angeles FC as the top seeded in the Western Conferencequalified directly for the Conference Semifinalsround.
Meanwhile, New York Red Bulls, FC Cincinnati, CF Montreal, Orlando City, New York City FC, and Inter Miami in the Eastern Conference, andLos Angeles Galaxy, Nashville SC, Austin FC, Real Salt Lake, FC Dallas, and Minnesota United FC in the Western Conference will have to earn theirspots to play in the nextround.
