The Franck Kessie saga will continue stealing the headlines as long as he doesn’t put pen to paper on a new dealwith AC Milan. The Ivory Coast international is on the radar of a number of European giants, including Liverpool and Barcelona.

Kessie was thrown into the spotlight as he entered the final year of his contract at San Siro and stalled talks for a renewal. PSG were one of the first teams to be linked with him, but it seems like his future could be in the Premier League or La Liga instead.

Barca are struggling with a financial crisis that prevents them from making big-time signings, so they’ll focus on tracking potential free transfers, and Kessie is a perfect target. But the Reds don’t want to miss out on this opportunity either, and that’s why they’d offer €15 million more than the Cules.

Liverpool reportedly willing to offer €15m more than Barca to Frank Kessie

Kessieis a wanted man as he could leave Milan for nothing at the end of the season, a possibility that looks stronger each day as he refuses to sign a new contract. Therefore, various clubs are already thinking about swooping for him.

Barcelona and Liverpool would be leading the race but, according to El Nacional, the Reds would be having the edge as they’d offer a €30 million signing bonus to Kessie, while Barca wouldn’t go higher than €15 million.

While his contract continues to expire on June 2022, Kessie won’t be lacking in offers and he’ll have time to decide where he wants to move. But it seems like the Culeswill run from behind if he prioritizes to make more money.
